Couldn't have asked for a better surgeon!
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Farid Hamzei-Sichani, to anyone regarding spinal surgery. After being in crippling pain for a year and brushed over orthopedics and physiology, I finally ended up in the ER due to loss of sensation in my left leg and foot. I required an emergency discectomy and laminectomy. Dr. Farid Hamzei-Sichani walked me through the MRI results, what the procedure would entail and reassured me every second along the way. He was kind, respectful and a pleasure to have as a surgeon.

Deplorable behavior
We were sent to this physician when my husband was horrible pain. He walked into the room, looked at my husband bent over at the exam table and asked, 'How may I help you'. We explained the 3-week history of symptoms. Never completely entering the room, door remained open and next asked my husband to flex his foot. He then clearly stated 'I can't help you, I don't prescribe drugs'. We NEVER even mentioned medication to him. We requested an MRI. He told us 'Our best bet was to go downstairs and wait in the E.R. and maybe they would order one.' The MRI was completed at 1:00am. Another Neurosurgeon looked at the MRI and told us my husband had a herniated disc with nerve root impingement, that was located in a very difficult place. My husband was taken to the operating room, by Neurosurgeon with a heart, 24 hours later. Dr. Sichani was arrogant, rude and could have cared less about my husband. I will never forget that experience and advise anyone to avoid this Provider.

Dr. Hanzei Sichani is the best neurosurgeon I've h
My Neurologist, Dr. David Sommer recommended that I should see Dr. Sichani to do a neurological procedure on me. Dr. Sommer and Dr Sichani communicated well with each other. When I first met Dr. Sichani I knew that he was going to be my neurosurgeon. He was very easy to talk with. He did not rush me and addressed all my questions and concerns. On the day of the surgery Dr Sichani and his staff and other physicians were fabulous to me. Every part of the procedure ran on time and results of the procedure was fabulous. And the whole environment was very clean. I would definitely recommend Dr Sichani and Dr Sommer to anyone. I will be seeing Dr. Sichani soon for the follow-up appointment. He is simply the best neurosurgeon I've seen, and I've seen several. Feel free to contact me.

Worst experience
Extremely rude. Was not wearing a mask. First thing he said was “why are you here” Won’t even do an exam. He was mad I was there. Felt like an inconvenience. Unwilling to listen and does not care about the patient. Please see someone else
