Wrong diagnosis and unsafe treatment
The treatment recommended by Dr. Hawit made situation worse. My research showed that recommended medicine should be used under the direct supervision of a medical professionals. He is such a good man and surgeon. He has done several skin cancer surgeries on my face with no scarring. I tell everyone to go to him.

There is something very authentic and compassionate about Dr. Hawit. A great deal of intelligence and very sound decision making. I am 72 years and have been through almost a dozen Basal Cell Cancers, and Squamus Cell Cancers with him- which he has managed with great ability. He has carefully removed them with the Mohs procedure, cauterized them when on my trunk arms legs etc..., and sometimes just used a cream called "5 FU" . But more- he has been my cheerleader in chief to help me catch and ye

This guy is very sharp and humble. He cut a cancer with a Mohs out of my left ear and my left cheek. You cannot see the scars unless you know and even then, it's really well done and barely visible. He is a good and cares about his patients.

I met Dr. Hawit about eight years ago. I had real problems then, caused by a lifetime of sun exposure on the water. I'd had several cancers, and lesions popped up constantly. At first I saw him every three months, but after a time we got things under control; I now visit twice a year. His careful, thorough exams & treatment have me well under control. I've learned a lot, too, about taking care of myself. Dr. Hawit is a good man and a great doctor - I happily recommend him!
