Dr. Amin is an amazing, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable doctor. Unlike most psychiatrists I’ve had, he uses every minute of my appointments to truly make sure our plan of care is working, whether or not he needs to make medication adjustments, and generally talks to me about my life and concerns. Every visit. I’m never in and out like a number instead of a person. I couldn’t be happier to be under his care for the last few years and can’t say enough good things about him and his whole office staff.

after many medicine treatments, i found this doctor with genuine concern of patients. spravato changed my life. dr amin answers all my questions. my insurance has to pay for this treatment and dr amin administers it. wonderful experience

When billing difficulties arose he refused my treatment. My husband purchased the drug needed for treatment and doctor Amin refused to use it and would not return phone calls. We were put on hold several times for his staff to get his answers. I had to take FMLA for this treatment and now I am left with no treatment. This has now exasperated my condition from a doctor who is supposed to help his patients instead of making them worse. He doesn’t consider how this type of behavior effects patients already in a fragile state. I assume financially he can’t afford to buy the drug he needs to perform treatments he offers. If he can’t afford the drug, then he shouldn’t offer the treatment.

I appreciate what Dr Amin has done for me. I can tell from experience that when he is late seeing you, he is with a patient going through a crisis. He does not ask you to see a counselor for crisis, he is the one who will get you in to be seen asap and talk to u himself.he is the most helpful doc i ve met; will call u back for urgent issues and is always supportive.

I was not able to pay cash only paychiatrists anymore; found this doctor and could not believe my luck. Such a nice doctor and person who takes insurance is rare. you will love his manners , he made me feel understood, showed genuine care and explained everything. I can say with all confidence he is the best psychiatrists around. see him if u have suffered like me and u will never look else where.

Not at all impressed. Wait time to see doctor can be 45 mins or more. Only spends 5-10 minutes with each patient, not long enough to even build a doctor-patient relationship. I get the impression he is more interested in getting a copay than caring for patients. Even the chairs in his office are uncomfortable and seem to make you not want to stay. Seems to want to rush you out the door or is always behind schedule. Not good for a private practice. Would not recommend.

Dr. Amin is one of the few doctors with whom I've interacted that understood my personality/conditions and made simple recommendations.
