Yikes
I saw this psychiatrist many years back and this man literally called me a “hysterical woman”… He put me on a merry go round of meds I had no business being on- including lithium, which harmed my physical and mental health greatly. He also gave me pills in his office to “calm me”. I had no idea what was going on at the time but reflecting back on that now I know that is immoral

Not recommended. Very disorganized, signed me up for appointments I did not agree to, and hassled me by text to attend said appointments. Had wrong chart at appoinment, worst of all, refused to refill a prescription. I gave up after days of calling for the refill. Ridiculous.

Dr. Khajavi made me feel uncomfortable throughout my initial evaluation. He focused solely on my moderate weekend alcohol consumption, and infrequent (maybe once a week) use of marijuana as the cause of my depression. He did not offer any guidance other than simply giving up both completely. He displayed negligence by completely ignoring another more likely cause/risk. He gave me a prescription sample without providing me any information (I had to ask him what it was, how it worked, side effects, when to take it, interactions, etc.). He also answered multiple phone calls during the 30 minute meeting.
