Horrible doctor
Absolutely horrific bedside manner. I did not even receive an exam from this man. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment for him to barely look at my bloodwork then tell me I wasn’t prepared for my appointment. I asked him to please look at my bloodwork and he refused, only looking at a few pages his nurse printed and not my full panel. Instead telling me I was being defensive when I told him I didn’t know what I need to “prepare” for the appointment as his staff never told me anything to bring. I was out of there in 10 mins with no answers and feeling very hopeless. I made another appointment with a different GI, now wasting another few weeks waiting again while my health is at risk because of this doctor who could not be bothered to do any work on his end. One of the worst interactions I have ever had with any doctor in my life. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, especially someone who is sick and in need of care.

Rushed!
Appointment was very rushed. He did not explain much. In fact, I felt he was an alarmist. I had elevated liver enzymes due to what my primary care physician thought was a gallbladder attack which turned out to be exactly that based on the sonogram, he never reviewed any of the tests with me I took 3 in one week anytime I asked him a question he seemed annoyed. I saw him twice in one week and got treated exactly the same he spent approximately 4 minutes of time with me, the doctor hardly explained anything to me he did not like to be interrupted. He did not like to be asked questions Overtly concerned about my liver, which is going to have to be addressed. However, it wasn’t in a range that was detriment to my health or going to cause me immediate problems my gallbladder was the pressing issue however, I must tell you that the office people at the reception desk and medical assistants were wonderful. I got more information from them than the doctor kudos to the team.

My entire family see Dr. Forohar for all gastrointestinal needs. I recently needed to see him for a specific issue that had put me in the ER a few days prior. Dr. Forohar is kind, respectful and very knowledgeable. He explains everything very well and speaks to you directly and precisely. I always feel valued as a patient and as person. His staff is friendly and professional. He is so knowledgeable about his specialty that he helps me feel as though I am being well taken care by the very best. I highly recommend his entire practice.

Dr. Forohar literally saved my life by not giving up until I agreed to have a colonoscopy. I’ve been to many doctor’s offices as I’ve gotten older, and Dr. Forohar‘s staff is the best I’ve seen. They are knowledgeable, efficient, compassionate and extremely accommodating. I would, and have, recommended Dr. Forohar to anyone who needs a good gastroenterologist. Thank you Doctor, to you and your staff.

I ( and my wife) have been seeing Dr. Forohar for 15+ years. I have never felt under serviced or rushed during an appointment. He explains everything in detail and answers any questions or concerns you may have. Over the years I have experienced a few gastrointestinal issues, some serious and some far from serious. Dr. Forohar treated each in the most professional and personal manner possible and always had answers to my questions. Plus he is a good guy!

Arrogant, nasty physician. Saw him a few times. First time not impressed with his personality. Since my primary care (PC) referred him I did the 3 different tests due to blood in my stool. He didn't find anything. Had to ask about blood, he said maybe a hemorrhoid. Few years later I needed a colonoscopy. Saw him again. I have extensive medical history with GI issues. Staff member tried entering it into PC, had problems so she had an attitude. Dr. Forohar came in & asked what was going on. I tried to give him my background. He became impatient & yelled at me "What is going on NOW!" I told him my PC sent me then he spoke nicely. Had the test. Returned for results. He said I had diverticulosis & internal hemorrhoids, see you in 5 years. Had to ask if I can't eat nuts, seeds, etc.? Rushed, he told me was a myth. Asked if Prep H was good for hemorrhoids, rushed he said yes. Said my PC thought I had ulcerative colitis. Then nicely he said no. Only cares about tests, not the patient!
