Being a trained physician specializing in Clinical Research, I rarely spend time writing any reviews. Dr. Shawl performed a TAVR to insert a new aortic valve inside my old 2005 model bovine valve. There was a complex constellation of symptoms and findings that needed sorted out in real time as the functionality of my old valve was declining daily. From my first meeting with Dr. Shawl, throughout the collaborative process with my cardiologist and a significant team of professionals, I was impressed and grateful with how professional, yet highly personal my case and condition were to him. Dr. Shawl performed cardiac catheterization on my dad. He skillfully managed to put a stent for a serious block and averted an open-heart surgery. Dr. Shawl is a wizard. He is an expert in interventional cardiology, who knows technique how to remove block in coronary arteries and put stent in very effective way. By his technique he avoided many cases of open heart surgery. By the grace of Almighty GOD he averted open heart surgery by GOD gifted wisdom. May GOD give him long healthy life to perform procedures to save many lives.

My experience dating to 2009 with Dr Shawl has been excellent. After a bad experience of disinterest with another provider, I was referred to Dr. Shawl. I quickly got an appointment at which he diagnosed a serious condition and scheduled me for surgery. I had four major blockages two at 90+%. I could have died at anytime. He treated me with 3 stents & controlled the 4th block with medication. I knew that I came out of the anesthesia, I could tell that I felt better. Over the past thirteenth years, I have stayed with Dr Shawl. There have been 2 more stents. Through a schedule of care, he has carefully monitored my heart health. He is caring & keeps me informed. I like his direct conversation & that he listens to my concerns. I have no doubt that I am alive due to his care.
