My first few appointments Dr. Horng were great. There was even one time where I needed a last minuet appointment for work and they were able to get me in same day. Lately ive used the portal to schedule appointments and they will either schedule me without telling me, not schedule me at all, or even, ive shown up and found out the dr was not even there that week

worst doctor ever
He is horrible doctor who is stubborn as a mule, he refused to update an x-ray and wouldn’t even examine my foot , he refused to care, so i have to spent the thanksgiving holidays in pain unable to walk, until my own doctor Steven Luh who is god’s gift and so caring to come back. This mule should not be a doctor

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Horng since 2008. We find him caring, professional and thoughtful. He truly looks out for the patients best interest, and doesn’t pretend to have the answer to everything. When my son developed severe neuropathy in both feet as a teen, and there was no reasonable explanation as to why, rather than continue to guess after tests, dr horng referred us to a neurologist who specialized in particular neurological conditions particularly in young persons and teens. Happy to say, my sons condition is under control to this day. His staff is always helpful and professional, and no matter what I come in for, I always leave with a smile. Thank you Dr. Horng!

Quick visit- doesn’t listen
The doctor did not listen to anything that I was telling him in terms of my symptoms and he said that he would refer me to a specialist and the specialist said I’m not sure why you’re here and so I’m back at square one. I didn’t find him helpful. He didn’t have any good advice. He was more interested in the next person that he had to see. He seemed like he was very busy and did not have time for me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Horng for over 10 years. He's an exceptional physician and has always respectful, kind and understanding. I trust his medical knowledge and expertise. He always made time to chat if there were any concerns that could affect my physical health, including work stress. He's the best in this field and area.

Not very thorough
Dr Horng has NOT been a good listener or show interest/care. Went in for shoulder pain and I could not move my arm upwards . Took an X-ray , he sent me to PT with an order. I asked if I should see Orthopedic and he said not necessary as of yet. 3-4 weeks in PT and no results so I went to an orthopedic , who looked at the X-ray and said my diagnosis was wrong and so was the PT. Once the PT changed my arm recovered. Went in last week for pain in upper leg/groin area . He has me do an exercise in front of him and says I need to rest and it will get better. Two days later I am in so much pain that I am unable to walk my dogs. I go back to see him and he orders an ultrasound. Turns out I have double hernia. I get my results via email. I call Next day to speak to him and am Told that I should go see a general surgeon. He doesn’t take my call to discuss my results. Nurse said he can’t help me and I need to see specialist.

This is a follow up on my previous review. Nothing ever gets done here. No one ever picks up the phone, you can only leave messages. They promise to call you back in 48 hours which is a long time especially if you are sick to wait for a call back from your doctor but even after 48 hours no one ever calls you back. Happened to me two times in a row within two weeks.

Over the last few years, my husband and I have seen Dr. Horng at Woodbury Medical and have always received exemplary service and care. We have never had to wait long, have always received great medical advice, and any prescriptions have been electronically sent to my pharmacy thus minimizing wait times. Medicine isn't an exact science so having a Dr that listens patiently and is aggressive in recommending appropriate scans and/or treatment is critical. We will be life long patients of Dr. Horng
