Rude and condescending
Was running very late, and seemed rushed when she came in to see me. Was not open to my questions or having a discussion about my birth plan. Made Me feel like a bad mom by wanting clarification as well as not making a solid or definite decision when labor is still a couple months away. Poor listening skills and bedside manner

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. This woman has no bed side manner and barely knows what she is talking about. Dr. F. Kwan told me that because I have gained 30lbs in the first seven months of pregnancy that it was important that I do not gain another 30lbs in the last three months so I do not have 60lbs to lose when the baby is born. She told me that I needed to diet so I do not have that much to lose. Um, what?? How would me gaining 30lbs in seven months make her think I’m going to gain another 30lbs in the last three months of pregnancy? Also, I used to have an eating disorder and am incredibly proud of my FULL figure body during pregnancy because that is better for my baby than starving myself. I get that a doctor may not be able to get to know a patient very well within the first visit. However, this doctor should stick to research side and leave the patient care to actual professionals. Also, learn how to follow up properly.

Dr. Kwann was amazing! I was referred to her to have a polyp removed from my cervix. She always smiled and made me feel very comfortable. She was very proud of her work afterwards. They called all the time after my procedure until I was in the clear. I asked if I would be able to have children after the surgery she said yes. I am now pregnant! My husband and I couldn't be more excited. I would love to have her deliver our baby. I absolutely think that she is great! Thanks Doc

Unprofessional and rude are the first two words that come to mind when asked to describe my experience with Dr. F. Kwan. She needs to practice her bedside manner and learn how to follow-up with her patients, especially after prescribing the WRONG MEDICATION! She could have risked my life, but preferred to send me a bill instead of calling to see if I was okay. Stay away from this doctor!
