Simply the best
You will not convince me that he is not the best. I am talking bedside manner and skill. I had multiple very complicated surgeries. I was in the hospital for over a month at one point. He called or checked on me every single day. He never lost his patience with me or my many questions. He knew each of my children and my husband by name. I have on many occasions referred my own patients, friends and family to this skilled surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Asghar for my back pain. I've had back issues since 1982, had multiple surgeries but still had pain. Dr.Asghar did surgery and fixed the disk that was causing the pain in 2023. Since the surgery I have been pain free and walk up straight now. Him and his team of doctors are the best.

A Very skilled Doctor
I had been dealing with back pain for years. Then I was referred to Dr. Asghar. He found a nerve being pinched between L2 and L3. He was very confident that the surgery would correct my pain. Dr. Asghar performed surgery on my back and completely fixed the my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Asghar and his Un. of Cincinnati team.

Dr. Ashgar is a Excellent doctor.
The surgery went better than I expected and it went just like he said it would. I didn't want to have back surgery because every body I know who have had back surgery has had to have back surgery over and over again

Fantastic
Dr. Asghar is one of the most fantastic doctors I have ever been to. Wonderful bedside manner and also very thoughtful in his diagnosis would highly recommend. I really appreciated how conservative his approach is, he's willing to tackle difficult cases but tries to make conservative care work so patients have options.

Fractured C2 Vertebrae
My doughtier was in a major car accident in April 2023. She fractured her C2 vertebra. Initially we were told it was horizontal and should heal with a brace. After a scan at UC we were contacted by Dr. Asghar's office. My daughter was then put in Dr. Asghar's hands. Her vertebrae was slipping. The next few weeks were an emotional rollercoaster and Dr. Asghar was compassionate and continued to put my daughters care first. When we were faced with hard choices he reached out to other colleagues in his field to get other opinions. Dr. Asghar was able treat Nicole without surgery. That impressed me more then anything he was a surgeon but put Nicole first and avoided a very risky, complicated procedure. I do not have enough great things to say about him. I would definitely refer him to anyone, You will definitely have a surgeon who is looking out for your needs,

Highly skilled compassionate Specialist
Dr. Asghar and his support team have been providing diagnostic, surgical ,and post operation care for my complicated lower back issues for the past four years. Dr. Asghar took a careful and conservative approach in a effort to avoid surgery and as a last option. Due to age and spinal stenoses, not to mention significant pain, I eventually required two laminectomies and more recently a fusion. After one year post -op (6/2023) plus physical therapy I am pain free and enjoying dog walks and golfing regularly. Dr. Asghar communicates clearly and is always open to questions and patient concerns. I am confident in his opinions , as well as, surgical skills. He is highly recommended by this very thankful patient. His support team is the very best !!

Two spinal fusions and doing well
I have been going to Dr Asghar for over 10 years. He has performed two successful spinal fusions and laminectomies. He has always been very thorough and forthcoming with my diagnosis. He is conservative in his approach to surgery. I have found the office to be very efficient on every visit and rarely is my wait time long. I did get three opinions from different surgeons prior to my initial surgery and picked Dr Asghar based on his personal interactions with me and his surgical plans. He was fine with me pursuing other treatments like steroid injections, nerve blocks, etc. but in the end we agreed surgery was my only option after nothing else brought relief. I highly recommend Dr Asghar for treatment and surgery. I will likely need another spinal fusion and laminectomy in 8-10 years and I plan for Dr Asghar to be my surgeon once again when that time arrives.

My surgery
Back surgery fantastic after day 2. A year and a half later I am living normally with very little pain when I don't pace myself. Best decision I ever made.

Spine Surgery
Dr Asghar has performed two major spinal fusions on me. He is a professional and has a warm personality. His work has been excellent and has done exactly what he promised. Given my situation, his speciality in spinal deformity was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Asghar to anyone who is interested in a consultation for a plan of care and certainly to a person thinking about spinal surgery of any kind.

Amazing Surgeon
Dr. Asghar was absolutely lifechanging for me. He was able to correct a disk problem in my back and I now am getting the use of my legs again. His staff is also amazing and went above and beyond to help me on my last visit. Kudos to Dr. Asghar and his staff!

Dr Asghar saved my life in March 2015. I had metastatic RCC and a kidney removed by another surgeon at Kettering Hospital in September 2014. The cancer moved to my spine and I had a huge mass growing in my spine between t8-t11 (stage 4). Dr Asghar removed that mass and performed spinal fusion (a 12 hour surgery) I had to follow-up with Radiation Therapy and chemo & now live a normal life. Dr. Asghar is a brilliant Doctor and a highly effective surgeon. God bless & Thank you Dr. Asghar.

Dr Asghar is a compassionate and highly skilled surgeon. I came to him with a tumor in my L1 that was completely destroying my quality of life. By the time I came to him, my tumor was very advanced. I could barely walk or sit and I could no longer drive because of the pain. I know 100% that the only reason I can still walk today is because of his skills as a surgeon.

When I went to see Dr. Ashgar, I had little quality of life due to years of back pain. After surgeries, 6 months later, for the first time in years I have little to no pain. His compassion and bedside mannerism is superior!
