I have needed a neurologist for 55 yrs now. Dr Machado is the best I have had! she explains well to the level you need. Makes sure you understand everything. she has gotten my seizures under control....no one has ever done that. she has excellent bedside manner.

myself and my husband have been established patients of dr. machado. my husband was not right as a nurse I knew he needed to see her. called x3 to get end of june apt moved because he needed to be seen. my answer was no , can't do no. so 3x's i then caLLED TO HAVE HER CALL ME TO DISCUSS WHAT TO DO. AND ALL 3 CALLS HAD NO ANSWERS , SHE WOULD NOT EVEN CALL AFTER ME PLEEDING WITH THE OFFICE THAT I NEEDED TO SEE HER OR TALK WITH HER. AGAIN NOTHING.HE IS NOW 8 DAYS IN HOSPITAL THANK U 4 NO HELP

Loved Dr. Machado.....very attentive, caring. Excellent follow-up phone calls on consistent basis. Office staff is incompetent.....terrible at communicating to patients. The nurse practictioner though is excellent. The office staff screw ups unfortunately detract from the overall rating that Dr. Machado deserves and as a result I am not going back.
