Took her time to answer questions. Excellent staff, very friendly.

This practice is taking advantage of the elderly by scheduling appointments with the doctor, billing the insurance, and having a medical assistant see the patient–NOT the doctor. I heard many positive things before sending my mom here and I’m completely appalled at their incompetence and lack of empathy. My mom was a patient of Dr. Shum, saw her once, she prescribed an MRI, scheduled a follow-up only to find out on arrival that the medical assistant would be seeing her, not the doctor. No test results or explanation. Prescribed medicine that didn’t help and never even checked- in with her. This has happened 2 times and only saw the doctor once. I had no idea since my mom is older and assumed it was another doctor. I actually called and was told that this is how the office operates - the medical assistant sees the patients. In what universes is this OK? STAY AWAY AND FIND A DOCTOR WHO CARES ENOUGH TO SHOW UP.

Check in was quick and easy. Waiting area is spacious. Few meter parking spots in the area. Dr Shum is courteous and attentive. Office was able to squeeze in same t3sting today for him.

I’ve known Dr. Shum for so many years now and she’s been so professional and so personable and always listens to and addresses my concerns. I hope she will continue to do what she’s doing best, being a very good Neurologist. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shum.

Been coming here for about a year now. Have had the best experience Dr Shum is amazing. Very thorough and really listens to her patients. Her staff is also very kind nicest people. Office is very clean. Would highly recommend.

I can't tell you enough how Dr. Shum has given me a new lease on life!! I was miserable in bed with debilitating migraines 20 plus times a month! I wasted time seeing others neurologist & wasn't taken seriously. So I finally got fed up feeling miserable & constant vertigo! So I seen a new neurologist & look no further, she's been my guardian angel with life changing medication that I was never offered before! Not only was she so caring & she looked seriously into my concerns! She has gotten me approved for medications that all insurance companies give a problem with, she also got them for me immediately by using a fantastic specialty pharmacy that delivers my medications directly to me! Her staff is wonderful and caring!!!! Most amazing staff and her office is prestige in cleanliness!! THANK YOU DR SHUM FOR GIVING ME BACK MY LIFE & THANK YOU TO HER STAFF FOR BEING THE MOST FANTASTIC BUNCH I EVER MET!! LOOK NO FURTHER,WASTE NO MORE TIME SEE THE RIGHT DR

This was my first visit with Dr. Shum. I found her to be friendly, caring and easy to speak with. She listened carefully and asked questions that matched my personal issues and concerns. I am pleased with the information she shared and am interested in staying in touch as I learn more about and monitor my situation. I am going to consider Dr. Shum’s recommendations and have a follow up visit when needed.

Dr. Shum is extremely helpful and professional. Her office was able to set me up with an appointment quickly when I was experiencing bad spinal pain. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. I’d recommend Dr. Shum to anyone experiencing spine or headache issues. She’s also very explanatory and thoughtful when discussing treatment with patients. The office is also beautiful and very clean.

Been seeing Dr. Shum for about 3 months now. Throughout this time I can say the care I have received has been exceptional. She has a warm and caring bedside manner. She takes the time to explain the results to tests, and is very reassuring. Also, the office staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.
