This office is a joke. The doctor spent the whole time on her computer trying to "figure it out" ( shouldn't you know before you start working?) then her cell phone kept going off. Then asked us repeatedly why we were there. Yearly check up. She basically said yep your alive and we left. No assessment, no labs, no questions asked. She got paid big to do literally nothing with the patient. They always schedule months in advance then days before your appointment they call to cancel. The receptionist is rude and unattending, acts like she has better things to do. Office staff is always standing around on their cell phones. Do not come here if you value your life or medical care

I visited Dr. Tampoya's office only twice because I could never get an appointment. Staff would tell me that her earliest appointment availability was in several months. Then closer to my appointment date I would receive a call stating that she was no longer available and that I would have to change my appointment. Dr. Tampoya herself (when I finally reached her) was very pleasant and took her time with me, I just wish I could have gotten an appointment with her that wasn't in 2 months' time.

My family has been with Dr. Tampoya for over 20 years. She has been a wonderful doctor, professional, personal & caring. Unfortunately everything changed when the new "affordable health care" went into effect. She no longer could care for her patients as she wished because of federal rules that were put into place. Rules that caused each of us to become a number & statistic. It's a shame.

Dr. Tampoya and her practice partner, Dr. Banquerigo run a very poor medical practice. Not only is it difficult to get an appointment, but the front office staff is rude and unprofessional, the wait times to be seen are INCREDIBLY LONG. I'm talking about upwards of 2 hours with an appt! Dr. Tampoya is not very thorough either--she seems to just want to herd you along so she can get to the next pt. I have better luck Googling my sysmptoms.

My first appointment came unusually fast, and she actually told me the only reason she was seeing me so soon was because I called several times to have her office worker relay that I was in incredible pain (my back), and that I was going to need some strong pain meds to hold me over until I could see a specialist. I also needed a referral to a psychiatrist for reasons I won't mention. The psych referral came a month later..the back one never did..It's also difficult to get a timely appt date

The most unprofessional doctor and staff I have had to deal with. Wait time is minimum of 1 hr and staff is always late coming back from lunch. How unprofessional!
