I said I'm in pain. It hurts me to travel. He raised his voice and said, "This is not a pain clinic"... I said "I need a psychiatrist. Doctors calling me a liar is driving me to hurt myself. I have no where to turn for help, this is what I get. But, I can't travel." He interrupted me with a scoff and said, "yeah, like your going to get one to come visit you." -- This is not how someone who suffers should be treated. Yet this doctor is the rule. I pushed an RV off a neighbor. I ruptured 2 disc, damaged the nerves in my spine. I'm in constant pain. Had a failed surgery. And now, after 19 years of pain, 8 years post surgery, medical doctors now refuse to discuss it with me. In 2014, I couldn't find a doctor. had to go off all meds with no help, aka, cold turkey. All those years on opiates and nothing happened. no withdrawal. Why? I took the meds when needed. Never took more. But still, I'm in chronic pain so I'm a "Pill Seeker". And this is the new reality of modern "medicine".
