Dr. Fong-Kuei Cheng, MD

This Dr does not know how to talk to patients. Treats you like a 3 yr old. Uses terms totally inappropriate. Throws out wild treatments before further testing. This practice will not allow you to change doctors. You should have that right if a Dr doesn't treat you well or you are uncomfortable with them.

At time of procedure all staff were friendly and upbeat. To the point of feeling like a party. Laughing, joking and gossiping behind the curtains. I felt like a jilted lover it took almost three weeks to get in contact with dr. To make sure he meant to quadruple my meds even though my pharmacist even checked with his staff to make sure. It’s a good thing I have common sense and didn’t take the prescribed amount. After numerous phone calls to his staff explaining the situation, three weeks later it was confirmed by the doctor ! Oops sorry it was a mistake

Dr. Cheng may be an excellent technical doctor; however, he did not seem the least bit empathetic toward my concerns regarding my pending colonoscopy. His indifference made me very uncomfortable. It is important to me that my doctor listens to my concerns with an open mind.

My experience was similar to the other patient who has reviewed Dr. Cheng. I saw him for an appointment and for about 30 seconds on the day of my procedure. It took nearly a year to even be contacted to schedule an appointment with this office after my primary care physician placed her orders. That is inexcusable. The office is well run, but they really need to pay attention to the patient/doctor/facility relationship.

Limited interaction during my colonoscopy visit. No pre-procedure appt. Saw Dr for maybe 5 minutes before. Did not see him after - nurse provided results.
