Dr. Fraidon Azizi, MD

This doctor is condescending and dismissive. When expressing concern about my elderly mother's condition his response was 'your mother is 81, I don’t know what you expect'. When she noticed her lack of energy and weight gain the last month of her life she had called him and told him that her heart rate had dipped down to the 40's and 50's. He didn't seem to think that was an issue.

This doctor tells a lot of stories about other patients as examples. He talks a lot without really providing recommendations. He does not really listen to the patient and will discount concerns they bring up. He does not present information clearly and has zero ability to show empathy. Because he talks so much, you often wait a half hour or more past your appointment time to see him. Frankness is important in health care, but so too is compassion and this doctor has no compassion.

I found Dr. Azizi to be hands down the most unpleasant and unprofessional doctor I have ever met. He was arrogant, condescending, and insulting during my appointment. Not once did he make me feel like he cared for my well being. He actually had the audacity to tell me that any stress in my life was caused by having children later in life and that I should consider being a stay-at-home mom rather than a working mom. And all this after making me wait for almost hour past my appointment time. An appointment from which I left in tears.

When you sit down for your appointment with Dr. Azizi he doesn't examine you until he spends time talking to you. He is concerned with your overall health. His has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered. He also asks to communicate the results of tests to the other doctors involved with your health care. Dr. Azzi listens before he makes recommendations. His passion for his patients is amazing. We should have more doctors like him.
