Best doctor!
Dr Delach is such a great doctor. I was referred to her office by my gyn for a breast lump I found. She had amazing bedside manner and takes her time to explain everything. She spent so much time with me and even did an ultrasound in her office to see the lump, which was not found on ultrasound previously. I got lucky in being assigned to her as a patient. Once I got my mri and found a few things she worked hard to get my biopsy scheduled and then my lumpectomy. I was so so nervous about everything especially being a nurse but she put my mind at ease. Thankfully I don’t have cancer, but I feel so much better about the close surveillance I will be receiving in the future, as I am considered high risk. Robyn

A grateful heart
This Dr should be cloned. I gave her 5 stars for the same reasons everyone else gave her 5 stars. Truly cares. So compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. She is an angel in disguise. Dr DeLach if you get to read this never stop the blessing of holding the patients hand right before surgery. It meant so much to my sister and others.

Absolutely recommend
Dr. Delach treated me for breast cancer: consultations, port placement surgery for chemo; lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy surgery; post-op consultation. She is incredibly thorough in her explanations; my surgery was successful; and she always puts you, the patient, first. Nurses who tended to me have commented on the small size and neatness of my scars. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Delach to anyone who automatically thinks they have to go to Penn or Fox Chase.

Professional but approachable; highly recommend
At 36, I never imagined I’d have to be choosing a breast surgeon for a cancer diagnosis. I met Dr. Delach after genetics shows I was high risk for breast cancer. Fast forward to my diagnosis a couple months later. Dr. Delach walked me through everything, and I never felt rushed or pressured. My husband can be very critical, and he walked out of our meeting post-diagnosis just as impressed as I was. She spent two hours explaining, drawing, and describing all my options in a way I understood. I’ve never felt like a patient, I felt like a person which is how you want to feel during cancer treatment. Dr. Delach performed my double mastectomy in May, and I can’t say enough about her. I’m blessed to be in such good hands as I continue to be monitored.

Dr Delach accommodated my schedule for an urgent appointment the same day. She is so kind as a person - I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with her as a doc of other patients and now my own care, and she completely put my mind at ease. Dr. Delach, if you’re reading this....Thank you so much for taking the time with me today. It really means so much to me!!

I recently had abnormalities on imaging which required a consult with a breast surgeon and I chose Dr. Delach. The reason I chose Dr. Delach is twofold: I am provider in the health system and through colleagues I have heard stellar feedback about her surgical skills as well as her knowledge and bedside manner. The second reason is I have referred many patients to Dr. and every patient was thoroughly pleased. The reports from my patients included how she took as much time as they needed; they never felt rushed, even with asking countless questions in a state of high anxiety. She was calm and supportive. I found Dr. Delach to be exactly how my patients described her. Very knowledgeable and patient when describing results in great detail. She is the utmost professional. She made me feel comfortable and as calm as I could be that day when I was in a very confused, scared state. I was -and am so thankful to her for what she does for so many women every day. I would refer over and over.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This practitioner exemplifies everything wrong when it comes to patient care. She lacks compassion, the willingness and ability to provide evidenced base care and informed consent. She’s spineless, heartless, careless, and is in the wrong profession. There are countless wonderful surgeons in our region - please find someone who cares, knows better, and does better. Not only for your sake but for your friends and family’s sake.

Dr. Delach is an excellent breast surgeon. From my first encounter, she promised she would be there for me every step of the way. Dr. Delach has exceeded my expectations. I trust her completely with my care and she has always been there for me. Her bedside manner is amazing. She never rushes you and makes you feel like her only patient. She takes time to explain everything about diagnosis and treatment. She will continue to answer questions until you feel comfortable. She will even provide evidence based articles to help explain things. Dr. Delach truly listens and understands. She tries to include you in your care. She even held my hand prior to surgery.

I can’t say how much I appreciate Dr. Delach. I’ve had horrible experiences with other doctors in the past that literally made me never want to get checked or talk about my medical concerns. Dr. Delach was extremely professional and actually listened to my concerns which means the world to me because I was so tired of feeling like just another patient. Dr. Delach was knowledgeable and kind during our appointment. It was easy to recommend her to my family.

Dr. Delach is kind, competent, and truly an exceptional breast surgeon. Not only is she amazing it was easy to schedule appointments. She is responsive to text message and phone calls. I felt as though I had plenty of time to voice my concerns prior to my surgery and after. Having a lumpectomy in my 30s I was concerned for scarring and the appearance of my breast after surgery. Dr. Delach gave careful consideration as to where to make the incision, which was along my areola. Looking at my breast it is nearly impossible to see the incision scar. Her bedside manner is phenomenal. Dr. Delach held my hand as went off to sleep for the procedure and was extremely comforting. I am a nurse anesthetist from another organization and I can assure you this is not a very common practice. I would 110% recommend her to my family and friends.

Meeting honest individuals who are truly passionate about what they do is so rare. I have gone to a lot of Dr’s and specialists but just wow with Dr. Delach! I felt, for the first time, in a long time, like a medical professional actually “heard” me. She not only listened to my concerns and questions but took the time to explain everything to me in detail and really dig through my concerns with me, leaving me at ease and confident in my next steps towards health. Highlight of this crazy 2020!

I had breast surgery at a respected Center and they did not remove the nodes for dissection but fat only..Dr Delach was so professional and competent that I was very assured she would accomplish the task needed along with the team for general anesthesia. I would highly recommend Dr Delach for her competence and attention to details and her kindness. I will be following up with her for my follow up care. Dorothy a retired RN

I have always disliked doctors. I felt like I was such a number in a long list of numbers. Dr. Delach is the exact opposite. She treats you like a human being and will advocate for you like no other doctor will. She always answers my phone calls and text messages right away and makes you feel like you are her number one priority. She is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and talented. I had my biopsy July 8th 2019, Dr. Delach called me personally the very next day to tell me my diagnosis. The day after that we met in person to go over everything in detail. She even drew diagrams so I could understand exactly what she was saying and stayed away from stupid doctor jargon. The following day she used her super powers to get me an MRI, cat scan and bone scan in 1 day! I remember the person operating the bone scan machine asked if I was royalty because she never saw anyone get in so quickly! Cancer sucks but if, for some unlucky reason you join the cancer club, I would go with Dr. Delach!

My experience with Dr. Delach has been a very positive one! I found out in Nov that I had breast cancer and as overwhelming as that news was, it was a little less daunting because of Dr. Delach's care. I appreciated the time that she spent with me to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. I would definitely recommend her!
