Dr. Francine Guzman, MD

Horrible service Dr. Guzman is rude, careless, and rushes her appointments I have gone overall 2-3 times and this last visit was my final strike. She should retire honestly.

I switched to Dr. Guzman after her associate, Dr. Monaco, moved to Florida in 2004. We had some complications with my first pregnancy as I had a blood clotting disorder that I wasn’t aware of. She had my see an RE and Hematologist before returning to her. She worked side by side with my hematologist to deliver my next two children. 1) She isn’t an alarmist, but I have never felt my concerns where ignored. 2) She had proactively tested me when I had concerns. 3) When she was uncomfortable with my condition, she referred me to specialists without dragging it on. 4) She is very soft spoken, and she keeps you calm. 5) There is a wait, but I would rather have a wait than feel dismissed and rushed at an appointment. 6) Her staff is great, and you know that because they stay for 20+ years. She really is a great, knowledgeable, doctor with an unbelievable bedside manner.

On call. On time. Listens to patients concerns. Respectful. Trustworthy. Honest. She missed the 1st birth of my daughter due to another hospitals inconsistency but she sure made it a point of her due diligence not to miss another! She has delivered my last 2 angels with ease even though I was a high risk patient. She and her team follows your pregnancy detailed and not miss a beat! I am super proud to recommend Dr Guzman as the top GYN in Long Island( just speaking from experience). She goes above and beyond for her patients and ensure your Labor and Delivery is as exact as you both will discuss in monthly checkups.

I had a great experience with Dr. Guzman! My wait wasn’t long at all and my routine checkup was as painless and comfortable as possible. She was very sweet and gentle, and made me feel much more comfortable than I have at other gynecologists.

Dr. Guzman has been my doctor for many years. She is warm, precise and very easy to talk to. I have 100% confidence in her skills and treatment. Her staff is pleasant, courteous and professional and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my visit. I am fortunate to have found her.

Dr. Guzman is a good doctor, but the way the office in a highly disorganized manner, causing patients to pile up and patience to be lost. I had a 1pm appointment and wound up leaving at 3pm, basically spending the entire afternoon at her office, an hour and a half was spent just waiting to be seen. It was so frustrating and infuriating. I had/have a job to return to, and there was very little consideration for my time. I don't know if I'll continue to be treated here.

I can not speak highly enough about Dr. Guzman and her staff. The wait-yes... it is awful. But for any true emergencies that I had as her patient, I was taken in immediately, or sent up to Mercy to be seen right away. I delivered 3 healthy children with her, and always felt as if she truly cared.

Dr.Guzman is a great doctor but the way her office is run is horrible. The secretaries are horrible and rude they do not have respect for the pain you might be experiencing. No point in making an appointment because you end up wait for hours to be seen in the waiting room and then another twenty undressed in the room waiting for the doctor to come in. My best advice is to get use to being treated poorly and waiting or find another doctor to go see.

Great Have been a patient for many years
