WhirlWind of Disrespect
I wish I would have reviewed the 1 star reviews before driving 30 minutes to see a doctor for 7 minutes. Rude, dismissive. Massive ego. Patients concerns not addressed. I don’t believe he should be practicing medicine. If the oath is to do no harm, his inhumane treatment of patients alone should disqualify him. He was rough-shoving tubes into my ears, suctioning. When I attempted to speak, he cut me off several times. Never have I been so disgusted at a doctor’s office.

Poor bedside manner. Terrible experience! Abrupt, dismissive, and condescending! I’ve never met such a rude doctor!! Did not say hello/good morning. Did not explain the procedure before shoving something up my husband’s nose. Did not care when my husband winced in pain as he was poking around and roughly palpating his face (which was very swollen due to bilateral nasal fractures). Was visibly annoyed at me for asking questions. Did not care when my husband said he couldn’t breathe properly. Rolled his eyes and chalked it up to all the swelling. Did not explain any other option or treatment. Stated that the fractures would “heal on their own” but when asked how they would heal if it’s a comminuted fracture and would the fragments put themselves back together - stated curtly “no” with another eye roll and no further explanation. The whole consult lasted less than 5 minutes since he was obviously rushing to get us out.

Not helpful, still don’t know what I had or have
Dr. Casper visit felt rushed, he seemed annoyed when I asked questions, didn’t explain anything. I came because I had an two ear infections back to back and went to urgent care for both two months earlier and finally got an appointment to check on my ears. He says he doesn’t think I had an ear infection, then what was it? Recommended a hearing test even though there was never an issue with my hearing. Test confirmed no issue. Paid $250 out of pocket and feel like I don’t have any answers. Then called their Billing department to ask about all the charges from the visit, was not expecting to pay so much out of pocket, and they were even more rude. My insurance noted that this doctor noted eustacian tube disorder?? Why didn’t he say during the appointment? So what does that mean and what do I do for it? This appointment was a waste of time and money.

Bed side manner nonexistent.
Not a pleasant experience. I was concerned about a lump on my neck. I was lucky to get an appointment quickly and it turned out to be with Dr. Casper. He spent probably all of five minutes with me. Was annoyed if I asked him to repeat information. The exam was abrupt and quick. Didn't explain what he was about to do. Shoving his fingers down my throat with out warning. I would not recommend him and I won't be back.

Terrible
Do NOT go see Dr. Casper. From the moment he walked in the room he had an attitude. I explained my symptoms after being referred to an ent from 3 specialists. Without even examining me he said it's not your ears....I've had tubes multiple times I know when my ear is bad. So I go down the hall to the audiologist, they were great. Test showed hearing loss on high and low tones which she explained showed there is something going on with my ear. The doctor then comes back and says oh gosh that's totally normal, you should stop using qtips. I've never used qtips for my ears IN MY LIFE due to having tubes and knowing the danger. I explained this and he goes oh well maybe you have tmj go see a doctor for it. I pushed for him to explain the hearing test and how that is normal, he then said it's a waste of both of our time and money to do any more tests. I left there sickened by that man. How do you treat people with such blatant disregard? I plan on filing a complaint.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE with Dr. Casper. I went through a terrible experience getting an MRI, brought the CD in and his staff told me "nothing was on it." I frantically spent 30 minutes on the phone with the MRI doctors trying to get the right images, only for the secretary to then say "we figured it out. and no i never said nothing was on it." Then I go into see Doctor Casper, who told me "the MRI (that he ordered) tells him nothing. Only a little insight." And he's sorry he didn't make that clear before. He then started to tell me all of the TERRIBLE conditions I might have, but that "he doesn't know" and that "the only way to know is to get surgery" followed by "it's probably nothing." He was in a rush to get me out, didn't want to answer any questions after he casually dropped I could have the C-word. It was honestly a traumatic experience, someone like him should not be practicing medicine who has no patience or empathy with sick patients. Absolutely awful.

First impressions are lasting impressions. A good enough diagnostician I guess considering nothing wrong with me fortunately. I am new to this practice and was not familiar with process. How was I supposed to know after CT Scan that I would be seen by doctor to review as he abruptly turned around- no we will see u later. When I did see him after CT a totally different person and only because office manager said something about his attitude and my dissatisfaction. Office staff is the saving grace. Still waiting for the report they were to send. I obtained a copy from my internist. For what this visit cost me a little niceness would be in order. Would return to practice but NOT to this doctor.

Not great. He seemed to be in a sour mood and was rushed. He wasn't patient and didn't let me finish sharing my concerns or issues. He didn't ask me for details about my problems. He jumped to the conclusion that I was being prescribed too many meds without finding out the details of my illnesses or issues. Ironically, it's his other colleagues in the same practice prescribing me meds.... it isn't like I'm out here on the streets getting it illegally or making things up. He didn't show care regarding my health concerns/struggles. I left feeling defeated.

Just came home from my son’s appointment with Dr. Casper and came here to immediately fill out a review. We didn’t have to wait and the office staff was friendly. Dr. Casper seemed rushed but he did review the symptoms and examine my sons ears. After an audiology test, he stated my son could have tubes put in, but he didn’t recommend it. He stated he could try Flonase but it probably wouldn’t help. Then...nothing. Asked if we had any questions and got ready to leave. No tentative diagnosis, no recommendations for what to do next. Didnt even say “come back if it doesn’t improve!” Guess now we go see someone else who can actually practice medicine.

As a new patient, I was shocked from the moment I walked through the door. They do not practice the same covid protocols as other doctors (no temp check) and their Libertyville location did not appear clean. Dr. Casper rushed from the minute he walked in the room and was too busy chastising me for q-tip usage than to listen to any of my other ent concerns. Not impressed.

We had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Francis Casper. He was rude and dismissal of my 18 year old sons concerns. He has a deviated septum and is unable to breath out of the left nostril. Dr. Casper told us that is was not that bad, and he should use Flonase or we could pay out of pocket to a plastic surgeon for a Rhinoplasty. Never bothered to asked about sinus infections, snoring, difficulty breathing and other issues that my son has experienced for years. Maybe order a CT of Sinuses, or even get an accurate medical history-this is what intelligent, good doctors are paid to do. I wouldn't send anyone to this man for an ENT issue!
