Dry Eye
Last visit was because my glasses weren’t correcting my vision as they had when I first started wearing them. He wouldn’t agree to write a new prescription. He wanted me to use an eye drop for dry eye, suggesting that dry eye was the cause of the poor vision with my glasses. When I questioned him about his recommendation, he got very angry, he started shaking, especially his hands as he tried to show me the eye drops. He asked if I was ‘in good health’ which I interpreted as saying I had a problem that was causing poor vision, when it was definitely that my prescription needed to be changed. I asked again for a new prescription; he just stared at me and refused to answer. I finally left and I did change eye doctors. He is a doctor, supposedly dedicated to his patient’s good eyesight, but he isn’t. Does not like to be questioned.

He was extremely condescending and arrogant. He did not answer questions fully, he just kept saying " I will repeat myself". On my first appointment he stated " you have extreme dry eye, and I don't want to waste my time or yours" ! He did insert tear duct plugs, which popped up within 2 weeks, at first he said " they are still in the correct place" but when he was removing them he stated, " the one on the left will be easier because it is raised more then the left one" !!! When I told him that I had been keeping an eye on them using a 20X mirror, he told me that I was just being overly sensitive to having "something in my eye", and when I inquired about sealing the tear ducts, he said " and if you don't like them you will be back here in a few weeks telling me to open them back up, I am not willing to do that for you. I had originally asked if the duct plugs could just be pushed back down in place, obviously I have no problem with them being there. I would never go back there.
