Dr. Hornicek removed successfully a Sacral Chordoma from my father. He was very meticulous and explained everything carefully. He has gifted hands since my dad life quality kept even better than the surgery; when others doctors told us that we would walk among other things anymore. I highly recommend Dr. Hornicek. Dr H. I am sad you left MGH u have been my ortho since I was 12. I am now 29. I’ve had multiple surgeries and he’s the ONLY one who can seem to perform them properly on me. I’ve had 2 other drs operate on me and both surgeries failed. Dr H went back in the first time, and fixed what the other couldn’t. Dr. Hornicek is a world-renowned surgeon specializing in orthopedic oncology. He skillfully removed a rare cancerous tumor (known as a fibrosarcoma) the size of a baseball from my leg in 2013. His wit and dry humor and true concern for his patients will win your over immediately. His team of doctors and staff are great. My only criticism is that some of my follow-up appts I have waited over 2+ hours past my scheduled appt... but this is improving. I'm lucky to be one of his patients!
