Dr. Francis McCann Jr, MD

Dr. McCann has been my doctor for over 20 years. He listens carefully to what I have to say; he doesn't force any treatments on me that we both feel aren't necessary; he is very polite and very friendly, kind and nice. I am always so very happy to see him; he is a great person and a wonderful doctor.

This physician has been a family members physician for years and always done a mostly phenomenal job until recently. Patient recently entered hospice and Dr McCann was unresponsive for weeks when hospice nurse reached out. It took numerous attempts in one week to finally get a response to questions about his medications. Very unacceptable. While waiting for Dr McCann’s response one of the prescription’s dosage was increased in dosage for no apparent reason and without any communication directly from the McCanns’s office. Found out from pharmacy phone call and a different provider’s after visit summary. We finally got communication back from him but the time and effort to get this was very disappointing.
