Dr. Francisco Itriago, MD

I would like to express my gratitude and admiration for Dr. Francisco Itriago. He is skilled, compassionate, and extremely informative. Dr. Itriago explained everything regarding my surgery, expectations, recovery and risks during my appointments. He answered my questions thoroughly, with patience and honestly. Post-surgery, Dr. Itriago monitored my recovery progress in the hospital (St. Joseph South), visited me frequently and addressed my concerns. He was always engaged to en sure I was receiving exceptional care. I really respect Dr. Itriago for his medical and surgical skills and equally as much for him being such a fine man. I am so thankful for his expertise and true kindness. I highly recommend him. His Staff is also kind and attentive. Sasha, the surgical coordinator, was great always willing to help and answer questions.

He treated me in the hospital. He was awesome. Very personable and treated me with respect. Very detail oriented and spoke to you so you understood. Answered all questions did not just rush in and out. If I ever need surgery I plan on using him. Very good bedside manner and sincere.

He will only take you seriously have insurance. Otherwise as a human you don't matter. My brother heard the femqle secretary? say my insurance was a 'joke' and that he will likely not operate on me

Amazing surgeon in every aspect! Rare finding now days. A true hidden gem as a physician. Highly recommend him, you will NOT be disappointed I guarantee it.

Recently had surgery done with Dr. Itriago. I was apprehensive, but Dr. Itriago was comforting, understanding, and knowledgeable. He has excellent bedside manner, answers all your questions, and genuinely cares about his patients. He is also bilingual. I was nervous about the surgery, but he made my family and me feel at ease. Dr. Itriago is an in creditably talented doctor! I believe my situation tested his talents to the fullest extent and passed with flying colors! His staff is also top notch in my book! He preformed a colon resection on me. He made sure before the surgery that I understood every aspect of the procedure, he did this with detailed and easy understandable terms. He shows incredible compassion and empathy. After the procedure, he explained every detail of the operation. His bedside manner made me feel confident of the entire process. For his specialty, I would recommend no one but him. I seldom ever do reviews, but I had to let the world know of his excellence.

I had colon surgery and was terrified of ending up with a colostomy bag. He assured me he'd do everything to avoid that and he did. That was in 2014 and I haven't had any problems since. You can't go wrong with him as your surgeon.

I went to Dr. Itriago for surgery after seeing two other doctors first. He was the best listener, and the most responsive. Office staff is great. I saw him in the Habana office, which belongs to another doctor, and is not as clean as it could be. Dr. Itriago is only there every two weeks.
