I was treated at Duke Regional ED for a fairly serious infection on 8/27/20. Within no more than 10 minutes of my arrival into the patient room Dr. Agatucci was in to see me and complete his assessment. He was professional, truly kind , and extremely knowledgeable about what I was dealing with. He was exceptionally thorough in his evaluation while explaining everything to me as he went along. He discussed his plan of treatment with me to ensure my understanding . I can honestly say that I have never received better care than what I received from Dr. Agatucci. He has a bedside manner that is just not seen anymore these days. He is so kind and reassuring that it made my very much unwanted visit to the ED actually pleasant. He took amazing care and went above and beyond. I wish that every physician could learn from Dr. Agatucci how to treat patients. He is such an asset to Durham Regional and I just cannot thank him enough for his outstanding care and kindness he showed me.

Dr. Agatucci took EXCELLENT CARE of my husband, Ervin Wesley Scarlett several weeks ago in the ER when he needed to have stiches in his head. We both are extremely appreciative of the excellent medical care of Dr. Agatucci and also his very friendly personality that made the process of evaluating and treating his open wounds in his head. How fortunate to have had him that day when we needed his caring and skills. Thank you!

Dr. Agatucci is an awesome doctor. He is incredibly helpful & kind. I highly recommend him. He is a great example of a doctor taking his oath to help people seriously.
