Dr. Frank Armocida, MD

I spent months searching for the right doctor for my hip replacement surgery as I wanted only the anterior approach procedure and many doctors do not perform this procedure. After finding and meeting Dr. Frank Armocida I believed that I had found my surgeon. His expertise with the anterior approach was evident during my visit and his engaging personality puts you at ease. He listens carefully and answers with details that allow for a well-informed decision. I was pleased with my choice when I met him, and now more importantly, after surgery, I am thrilled that he was my surgeon. It was a very easy recovery for me. I was walking perfectly, without pain, after only 5 weeks from surgery.

Doctor Armocida and his Physician Assistant Romine demonstrated a professional and confident attitude while repairing my femur fracture of the right leg. They took the time to explain the process and answered all of my questions. Their post-operative follow-up has been excellent. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Armocida is polite and caring. He has helped me every time I walked into his office. I recently had outpatient knee replacement surgery. I was driving at two weeks, outpatient therapy at three weeks, no walker or cane at four weeks. Others see me at therapy and are amazed at how well I am progressing and want to know who did my surgery. I have gladly recommended him to everyone I know and meet. He also has an awesome staff that have been quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns.

Total knee replacement on Both knees same day. Spent 2 nights in hospital. Home using walker and independent in activities. Started out patient PT week 3 and have had excellent outcome. Was driving week 5, walking one dog week 6, and am fully independent in all my activities now.

The best, excellent service, very knowledgeable staff! Super team! Had total knee done July 20, hip replacement July 21 and getting the other knee done tomorrow! Would not trust anybody else, Dr Armocida is awesome! Also kudos to the Surgery Center at Pelham, great group! These surgeries were all done out patient!

Dr. Armocida strikes me as a very intelligent and perceptive person. He came highly recommended from Dr. Saindon and I am glad I saw him. He never talked down to me and I felt very respected by him and his staff. Most importantly I felt like he was thorough and listened to what I said about my knee and his exam was very thorough. I will definitely see him again if I need further orthopedic care. Based on my limited experience I felt he was a very good doctor. I was glad that he didn’t seem to push for surgery as an option we should consider right away. I would prefer not to consider surgery unless it was a last choice. One last thing. he understood what I was telling him about myself and my personality and habits and he didn’t PUSH me to change my lifestyle - he DID offer that information but he didn’t make me fee as though I was being judged if I didn’t choose that route (exercise). I very much appreciated how I was not treated in a condescending way.

Dr Armacedo performed hip replacement surgery last July. He was absolutely wonderful as were his staff. He explained the procedure in detail, answered questions patiently and helped me thru the surgery and then aftercare. He and his staff are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and Dr. Armacedo is a highly qualified surgeon. I highly recommend him.

Highly recommended. Double knee replacement, up and walking within 24 hours. Busy practice... Seems patients with bad surgeries come to him to have knee surgery redone correctly, too!! Do it right the first time, Dr. Armocida isn't the best!!

Gifted surgeon! I recently had bilateral hip replacements. I was up the same day, walking the next. From my first appointment, Dr. Armocida and his staff were top notch. Highly recommend.

Dr. Armicida is a wonderful surgeon. He is patient and takes time to explain things to you in a way that you can understand. He is very busy but it's understandable because he is so sought after as a surgeon. If you call with a question you will often have to leave a message but his staff will always get back to you as soon as possible!! They are great as well!

I have been a patient of Dr. Armoceda for several years now. He did a hip revision on my right hip, which was implanted incorrectly by another surgeon; it was squeaking and painful. Dr. Armoceda's results were amazing, I recovered well and quickly. The hip feels like nothing was ever touched there. What a change in my life this has made. If you need a hip or knee replacement, Dr. Armoceda is the doctor you will want!

Dr. Armocida is one of the BEST Orthopedic Surgeons around. Hidden from a car accident; surfacing 5 yrs ago; hardly able to walk in the last 2. 1 ½ weeks ago, I had full-hip replacement outpatient surgery at 7a & home by noon! I'm amazed by how far I’ve come in such a short time. My original pain level was 8 out of 10. IT'S NOW ZERO! And walking w/o cane. I just want to thank Dr. Armocida & his team for the wonderful job they did. They're the BEST! We've NEVER met a nicer more caring Doctor.

Waited close1.5 hours for him to walk in for 10 minutes tell me about 1 issue with my knee based on X-ray no real discussion did not appear to care - walked out of office not even a word of thank you sorry for the wait -nothing. He has NO beside manner and I will not return nor do I recommend-on a positive note the office staff is great .
