He only spends about 2 minutes with you, explains nothing, and doesn't listen to you about your symtoms.

I have been a patient of Dr. Crantz for over 9 years. He is a wonderful doctor and I feel I am in good hands. His office staff, nurses, and other professionals are really great. I don’t live in the area anymore but I still have Dr. Crantz as my doctor, I trust in his experience and judgement.

Dr. Crantz is always on time. His nursing staff is amazing. Lindsey drew my blood the past few times and she is so gentle! Dr. Crantz is very good about calling next day with results. Only complaint I have is the front desk staff. She is always on her phone and easy annoyed when I ask questions. Other than that, decent doctors office.

Dr. Crantz is a fine Endocrinologist, he knows what he's doing and is willing to listen to a point. My only critiques with him are on the communication side. In person he appears rushed. I usually spend more time with the assistants than with him. Also, as someone new to not only the area, but to professional life in general, he appears to be unaware that not everyone can afford to go on 5 different medications and try the latest and greatest apparatus'.

I've been a patient of Dr. Crantz for several years and highly recommend his services. Under his care, my thyroid issues have stabilized; I was able to get pregnant and have a beautiful and healthy baby in 2009, a testament to his detailed oversight of my health. And though I relocated from the Northern Virginia area, I return approximately every six months for an appointment with Dr. Crantz. Again, highly recommended.

Awful. Rude. Inconsiderate. Inpatient. Told me my weight gain could be solved by eating less and exercising more. I was exercising every day and eating 1,000 calories a day. Idiot. Told me that I only needed a max of 2 basal rates a day.

Will never go back in Chantilly, VA – Aug 23, 2016

I adore Dr. Crantz. After our first meeting I was nervous about returning because he basically called me out on my stuff. every follow up appointment he has been kind and takes time to answer ALL of my questions. Bottom line, if you're looking for a doctor to stroke your ego and not call you out on your poor health habits, he is not for you. If you want a brilliant doctor who will be a partner in your care, go to Dr. Crantz. He is exactly what I needed and I'm healthier for staying with him.
