Very Bad Doctor
I had surgery from him and continued to have the issue afterward. I got a second opinion from a Dr in San Antonio and he did a high tech scan to look at the surgery area. The scan showed that Glatz did not remove what was suppose to be. Glatz basically opened up the area didn’t do anything and closed it. He scammed the insurance for the money to perform a surgery he didn’t even do.

I'm still sick and suffering, find someone else
My primary doctor referred me to the Mackie clinic in March of 2023 due to me getting strep and no antibiotics would get rid of it. My tonsillectomy was finally approved in May, done by Dr Glatz. The only problem is that he did a partial tonsillectomy and kept some tissue behind. It's been 1 full year since my surgery and throughout that year I've still been having strep like symptoms. A few months later, Dr Glatz did a Biopsy on me but he didn't properly do it. He was supposed to do a culture and take a sample from the left, right, and back of my throat. But he only took a small sample from the left and it came back normal since he did the bare minimum. I had to push for a culture, and it grew yeast. I kept pushing to remove my tissue at least to give me closure and peace of mind. On my last visit I saw him, I told him that I got a 2nd opinion from another ENT that would do it for me and he threw a temper tantrum. It was so embarrassing seeing a grown man act like a spoiled child.

Patronizing and Belittling
I've never met a doctor with such a huge ego. I went in with throat tightness. He glanced at my ears (less than a second per ear) and I made a joke about having perforated eardrums because I have been treated by ENTs with multiple ear surgeries for over 30 years. He snapped that they weren't perforated and I disagreed, so he left and ordered a hearing and membrane test to prove he was right. The audiologist said he could see the perforations, but Glatz never even looked at my ears again. He tried to "teach" me and got mad that I didn't care. I said "It doesn't matter whether you're right or wrong, I'm here for my throat." He said the other doctors and ENTs in my life had been wrong and said "who cares about the audiologist?" Then he left and refused to see me. He never even looked at my throat. Two PAs apologized for his behavior but said there was nothing they could do. One got me in to see a different ENT (who was great). It was so bizarre, and he was horrible.

Excellent Doctor. Thanks to him I was able to hear again. I was not able to listen from my left ear, but at age 15 he made a surgery to me and thanks god and him everything came out good. Now, 7 years later, I can listen to everything perfectly.

Excellent doctor he put in my husbands cochlear implant and he diagnosed my headaches as occipital neuralgia the first time anyone has ever helped me with that. He is excellent I would highly recommend him he’s prompt, very accessible and takes his time. My husbands cochlear implant has given him a new lease on life he can now hear so much better.

Dr. Glatz explained what was going on with me and what he could do. He was worth the little time I had to wait in the waiting room for him. He did surgery and I would do it again with him. He is busy but never rushed my treatment.

Told us he was the only ENT in the area. Will put anyone under surgery. Very rude. Very busy, doesn't listen as he will take calls with his earpiece during a visit. We almost put my premature son less than one year on the table to put that magnet in his head. His wife runs a therapy that he will say is the only one for hearing loss. Has their friend get kids say they are deaf. We declined implant. He threatened not to work with us again. Three years later my child can speak and listen very well.

This was, by far, my worst experience with a doctor. First of all, his staff is incompetent! They did not call to confirm my appt and when I called, they told me to go to the Mcallen location instead of Harlingen. I drove 45 mins back to Harlingen and when I finally arrived, it was so dirty, smelly and unsanitary that I almost left right away. However, my meeting with the doctor was the worst experience of all! He was loud, rude demeaning and rough. I can’t believe he’s a doctor. Stay away!!!

Office staff very poor - First appointment, I waited over an hour before I asked why so long and ws told the Dr. was in surgery and would be another hour or more. I left. Made another appt. and saw dr. Got a call day before surgery and was told they didn't hear back from insurance and they would call me when they did. Took over 10 days for them to get back to me on Insurance authorization. When I called, they were looking at a wrong insurance company. I cancelled.

On my first visit with Dr Glatz, I was very pleased the Dr Glatz and his staff. The Dr took his time to listen and explain the different options that he could do for me Once it was it decided that I needed the sinuplasty procedure, the staff showed me all around where the procedure would take place. Then I had i done. I did not experience no pain at all during or after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr Glatz. I very happy how I I feel now Thanks to Dr Glatz and I finally had this done. AL

I had rhino/ nose surgery with this Dr 4 times and and each and every time had a problem with his attitude and displays of anger as to why I couldn’t breath like it was my fault. He was supposed to fix my breathing passage ways including nasal valves, turbinate’s and septum but as to my personal experience, I never had good results. We also tried balloon sino plasty which worked for about a month then the stuffiness and congestion was back. As of today I still cant breath correctly and my sinus

Excellent Dr. He has been the only one to help me with my problem and his level of care is beyond any other Dr. I have consulted with. Two other doctors I have seen only scared me off of having surgery but Dr. Glatz eased all my worries and explained things to me like no other had. I decided to have surgery and that has honestly been the best decision ever. I would totally recommend Dr. Glatz!

Dr. Glatz has truly been the best ENT I have been to. I have struggled all my life with nasal polyps and have seen several ENTs. I really think that what I liked most about Dr. Glatz is that he took the time to explain not only to me, but to my wife who is a huge worrier and he, unlike other Dr.'s, was able to answer all our questions. At the time of the surgery he made sure everything went well and I honestly couldn't be happier with his work!!

My husband went in due to a nasal polyp he had been struggling with for over a year. It had really taken a toll in our life since it had gotten huge and it really made my husband feel very uncomfortable to socialize so we would hardly go out with friends. A doctor I work with really recommended Dr. Glatz since she had previously gotten treated by him. Super glad we decided to finally take a chance and see Dr. Glatz!!! Truly life changing and my husband and I couldn't be happier!!!!

I have encountered some horrible doctors but Dr Glatz top the cake. You can be a very high skilled doctor but if you don't have bedside manners you will be seen has a dangerous doctor and should. He had no regard to my son's or I concerns. He went in, didn't explain any of procedures he was going to do and scared my son when he stuck his scope up his nare while his assistant forced him back on his seat. He was in such a hurry he yanked the scope out and didn't want to answer questions

Dr Glatz is a very rude and apparently to food for people, I have nothing really good to say just please re think taking your child to see him, he once told myself and my husband if you don't do the cochlear implants I am not your Dr, my husband and I looked at each other and said ok you are not the only one that exists. Please do not take your kids to see him. The worst of the worst and he is one of very many at the top of the chain.
