Dr. Frank Ruiz, MD

Terrible doctor! I left his office crying ,i am a seventy year old lady, he has no respect to his patients, he told me to not eat a hemorrhoid cream and many other rude comments. I will never go back there again!!!

Dr Ruiz treated me disrespectfully when referring to my weight , and even went so far as compare me to a cow. This was my first visit with him to schedule an endoscopy, obviously I personally went to the office to cancel that appointment and I complained about what happened to my with the staff and a girl took note of what happened, apologized and told me that the next day they would call to ask me in detail what had happened, but I’ve been waiting for a week that call. What a lack of professionalism from both, Dr Ruiz and the people in charge of enforcing the minimum standards of medical ethics and respect.

Went to Dr. Ruiz and was a big mistake. Did an endoscopy to see what was wrong with my pain and bloating issues and he told me it was gastritis and prescribed me medication to treat it. Come to find out 6 months later him and his staff did not tell me I had an active bacterial infection and did not treat me for it. They failed to share with me this information and all the response from the doctor was that he is sorry he did not tell me. I currently have this infection and only found out by seeing a 2nd doctor for another opinion. I also found out keeping this long term active can lead to stomach cancer. This other doctor gave me antibiotics and will get rid of this infection in 2 weeks. I have suffered 6 MONTHS with pain in my stomach bc of Dr. Ruiz Idk what Dr. Treats patients like this but the way the office handles these matters is very unprofessional. I would NEVER use this doctor again. They gladly took money from me for the procedure and then withheld my results…

Dr. Ruiz is very knowledgeable, great staff.

Dr. Ruiz is very personable and takes the necessary time with each patient to explain results, treatment options, etc.

My daughter has had several stomach issues in the past 3 years. We visited several GI's in North Jersey who were not able to treat her. We then saw Dr. Ruiz in and he diagnosed the problem. His staff was great and he was very caring to all our needs.

Slow. No respect for patient's time. Schedules multiple patients for procedures at the same time.

Dr ruiz has been treating both myself and several members of family for the last several years. Each time I am in the office, he explains everything in detail, and he is always a pleasure to deal with. His staff is knowledgeable and is always willing to accommodate my busy schedule. I would recommend him to anybody !
