Excellent oncologist and caring practitioner
Dr Senecal has been a Godsend. From the initial meeting, he is thoughtful, knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. My breast cancer did not follow the usual course. So many ups and downs, changes in treatment. But here I am in remission from Stage IV IBC. Dr. Senecal went above and beyond. He called me at home to check on me post infusions and answered my worried texts with calm assurance and care. He spoke with family members explaining my treatment well. He is close to retiring and I wish him the very best. He will be deeply missed in the medical community for his vast knowledge and experience. He saved my life and I'm very grateful.

I was treated for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, stage 4, 22 years ago by Dr. Senecal. He was a Godsend to me & my family. I am, and have been, in remission (cured) for all of these years. He is kind, calm and instills confidence & calmness to his patients. I came in afraid of never seeing grandchildren-I now have three lovely granddaughters, two are 15 yrs. old! Thank you Dr. Senecal.

He is the best
wonderful, so caring, takes time to explain, I had a very difficult time with chemo and he was always checking up on me including calling me at home as I was having an unusually difficult time with the chemo. Kind talking and explaining things to my husband. In the end it worked and after my surgery all the cancer was gone! discovered cancer in my other breast shortly after my first surgery so another round of meetings and surgery. I read the few negative reviews and it is like those people went to another doctor. During my business career those are usually self centered people who want to be the center of the universe. My experience and my friends who went to him had the best experience and his concern and attention as well as all the staff and nurses. They are all so kind and accommodating to your every need with patience and kindness.

I had heard good things. So many little things have stuck out. The exam rooms are where you wait for your visit while sometimes feeling sad, afraid, and concerned. I'd look around and see a funny snapshot of him dressed in a holiday costume and I'd laugh. They were a great tool that his wife helped to supply. He was focused on what I was dealing with each time in the clinic or hospital and he was unrushed and able to eradicate my breast cancer in 2009. What a year! Yes. Go see him.

If I could rate him even lower, I would. Arrogant, insulting, completely lacking in compassion, kindness, good manners. An enormously inflated ego, undeserved and unbecoming. Very impressed with himself, lets you know it directly & indirectly. Rude, disparaging, disrespectful, re: drs & other medical professionals (in CA) who took care of me and cared for & about me for twenty years, thru two bouts of breast cancer, two mastectomies, chemo & radiation. Called them stupid, said they weren't worth

I am writing this because, I cannot get over what happened to me at this man's office. One question to which he did not know the answer and when I began to explain he went into a rage, dressing me down. Verbal abuse by a physician is just beyond my scope of understanding. Still struggling with the PTSD this meeting set off. It is humiliating and embarrassing that this diagnosis happened. The only battle I have been in is the battle against cancer and this man was supposed to be my ally.
