I won't go into a lot of detail, but this entire office, scheduler and worst of all Dr Simoncini, are rude and have zero concern for patients. My follow up after kidney stone surgery, was postponed 5 MONTHS for some reason. Probably decent PAs couldn't stand working with Dr Simoncini. After all that time, I still waited 1.5 hours past appt to see doc, and he was RUDE, had no idea why I was there and clearly didn't care. No one checked on me, no one updated me, and in the 60 seconds I was with Dr Simoncini, I truly disliked him. They sent a survey after my appt. I was honest. So they canceled my follow up appt. I'm happy to find another urologist but this was one of the WORST experiences with any physician that I have ever had. BEWARE. And again, scheduling is equally as cold and rude.

Only go to him if you want to be mistreated
I was under the care of Dr. Simoncini for many months having kidney stone after kidney stone. There were multiple surgeries, office visits and hospital stays. He provided the bare minimum level of care and did so with a smug attitude. He does not like to be questioned. He does not even look you in the eye. I tried multiple times to get a new urologist in the time that I was sick and was turned down because I had stints that Simoncini placed after surgery multiple times. When I was hospitalized he only came to the hospital one for about 30 seconds and then he left. Nikki, his surgery scheduler, is a rude angry person who does not have a kind word for anyone. She will tell you other people are more important than you when you try to get something scheduled. Three days after my last stint removal I received a certified letter firing me as a patient because my case is “too complicated”. He just didn’t want to deal with a patient who had no problem challenging him. Do better Dr. Simoncini.

Would have been 5 stars if not for my last interaction with his office. Called to check on a referral my Dr. was supposed to send over. The gal I spoke to informed me I had missed a follow up on Dec. 2019. I explained to her that I had other medical issues far more pressing, no transportation, no money, no job and had no further plans of pursuing any further bladder surgeries after 2 in 2 years. I had to have veins removed from both legs, eye surgery, heart tests, water removed off outside of left lung which was collapsed, club feet from swelling. My Prostate does not allow me to empty my bladder anymore. I can only dribble small amounts at a time which wake me every 20 to 30 min to pee in a bottle. I take 3 heart meds to stay alive as well and my 4th leg surgery was stopped before completion because of oxygen levels. That Dr. Said being put under was not advisable anymore as each surgery got worse concerning oxygen. Dr. Frank doesn't want to see me now over a missed follow up.

My father-in-law highly recommended Dr. Simoncini who had nothing but great things to say about him. I decided to go see Dr. Simoncini and unlike the first doctor I met with, Dr Simoncini was able to answer my questions and explained my options clearly. From the time of my first appointment, all the way through surgery including my follow up appointment, Dr. Simoncini and his staff performed admirably. Thank you so much for your caring and friendly demeanor.

While accompanying my wife on one of her visits to Dr Simoncini I saw information on UroLift. After years of suffering with BPH for years because I feared the TURP procedure, Dr Simoncini patiently and thoroughly explained the UroLift option examining me to determine if I was a viable candidate. Once confirmed, I proceeded. Even though there was discomfort Dr Simoncini had advised I would experience for a few days after, I just completed my 5 week follow up today and I could not be happier. I have experienced a dramatic improvement to my symptoms. His team was extremely compassionate and Dr Simoncini conitinues to exceed my expectations in all categories, skill, communication, and ‘bedside manor’. I’m so grateful to have found him. I’ll be recommending him to all my contemporaries suffering from BPH. Thank you Dr. Simoncini and a big thanks to your team!!!!

Dr. Simoncini is a very competent and skilled urologist. Unlike many others, he seems to have no inflated ego. He outlines options and leaves the decisions up to you. I've used his services and knowledge over the last 11 years, and highly recommend him.

Dr. Simoncini is currently helping me take care of my ongoing issue with kidney stones that i developed during pregnancy. I think his office staff is very nice & got me in promptly as a new patient within 2 days of my initial phone call. I like dr. Simoncini a lot, he is great at explaining things & even drew a picture for me to better understand what was going on exactly & what my surgical procedure would consist of. I would recommend him to anyone. He’s been great thus far.

I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer about 4 months ago. Dr. Simoncini had been recommended by our family physician. He was very good at explaining what my options were and the +/- of each. He is very thorough and a great listener. My procedure was a week ago and my follow up was today. I’m still not out of the woods, I go for my first round of post op labs in three months. But I’m confident the results will be positive. I can recommend Dr Simoncini and his wonderful staff to anyone.

He is a super knowledgeable urologist that saved my life. He diagnosed my bladder cancer early on, immediately took me tor surgery to have the tumor removed and followed up with me in the office for additional treatment to avoid having the cancer reoccur. I have been cancer few for a year now and continue to go back to see Dr. Simoncini for routine cysto's. The level of knowledge he has is impecible and his staff is the best I have seen in awhile. Always very courteous and kind.

Twice in the past month (1/2016) I had a so-called appointment with Dr. Simoncini. In neither case was I able to see the doctor in a reasonable amount of time. The first time I left after waiting an hour and 20 minutes. Post surgery, I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Simoncini and this time I waited more than an hour and half before leaving. I will never make an appointment with this doctor again as he has no respect for the patients time. Maybe it is because I am on Medicare?
