Dr. Frank Tamarkin, MD

From the beginning to the end of our first visit to see Dr. Tamarkin, we were very impressed by all of his staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for, from start to finish. There was a positive atmosphere. People are happy to be working together there. Smiles everywhere. What a delight! Shelley got my vitals, and explained the urine test results and explained why a 24 hour urine test goes through a longer process to attain results. She also explained things about kidney stones that I had not known before. Dr. Tamarkin is as charming as he is handsome, and even more importantly, his excellent medical advice, obviously founded on knowledge and experience, was greatly appreciated. We respect his opinion and feel fortunate to have met him and his wonderful staff today. They are all gems! I would highly recommend this practice. Take care.

Dr. did not take the time to listen to my symptoms and was seriously inconsiderate. Really did not appreciate his bedside manner.

I recently was seen by Dr. Tamarkin for a prostate issue. I had to have a biopsy for the first time and needless to say I was nervous about the test and the results. Dr. Tamarkin and his nurse Sherry could not have been nicer to me as a person first and then a patient. They were very reassuring in their approach to my health both physically and mentally. The test results usually take about two weeks to get the results. (Nerve Wracking). However my test results came back in only 3 days. Rather than make me wait for my next scheduled appointment two weeks away, Dr. Tamarkin personally called me to let me know as soon as he received the report that I was fine and no need to worry. He cared enough to call me immediately so I didn't have to wait for another 2 weeks. This fine Doctor will be my Doctor for any future urological needs I may have. Great Doctor and a better human being. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Tamarkin for your urology needs. THE BEST!!! All this done during the recent pandemic.

Not considerate of the patient's feelings whatsoever. Appointments are rushed. Poor bedside manner.

Unfortunately I didn’t have any problems with dr tamarkin, it’s his nurse barb. Very business like with no personal touch. Made me feel very uncomfortable the last thing a man wants to feel undergoing a sensitive operation. It took on year to get my results. I left numerous messages with no return calls. I suggest going somewhere else!

We were very happy with our visit and got a lot of information. I previously took my mother elsewhere and we were treated rudely. Dr. Tamarkin took his time and explained our options. He was genuinely interested and very kind.

Performed my vasectomy almost two years ago, and I've referred him to at least two other friends as well. He was a consummate professional, the procedure itself was very simple and quick, and two years later it's made my life significantly easier. If I have any future urology needs, he's my guy.

Had a vasectomy done this past Monday. Dr. Tamarkin is very professional, sympathetic towards patient needs, communicated instructions well to me and my spouse. His assisting nurse, Theresa, was very caring and kept me reassured during the procedure. Feeling great already.
