Does not honor the hippocratic oath
I need a CPNL procedure, and I was referred to Franklin Lee by the VA. Dr Franklin Lee declined to do my procedure, and he and his staff never contacted me to say that he declined to take me on as a patient. For the longest time, I was told that he had not had time to review my case. I have no choice but to go to Pali Momi Emergency. Dr. Lee has no honor and defies his Hippocratic oath when he refuses to treat me.

Medication Prescription Error.
Dr Lee prescribed Tamsulosin for my over active bladder condition without taking into consideration that I was already taking Abiraterone for recurrent prostate cancer, it was on my list of medications readily available to him. The combination of the two caused me to suffer harsh side effects for nearly three months (dizziness, fatigue, difficulty sleeping and more). Nine days after I started the Abiraterone my daughter brought it to my attention that taking the two medications together could cause enhanced side effects. I stopped the Abiraterone immediately and informed Dr Lee. The harsh side effects continued on for weeks and Dr Lee was of no help when I contacted him for answers on how long the side effects would last and what I could do reduce them. He never apologized for his error.

When I see my PCP on my next appointment, I will ask her WHY she recommend Dr Franklin Lee to me. Dr. Lee is arrogant and his bedside manners sucks. I didn't feel understanding or compassion from him. Simply put, he gave me the "brush-off", because he knew the previous urogynecologist before him. He insisted I go back to her. But if I still wanted to continue seeing him to make an appointment. Are you kidding! I would NEVER recommend him to my family and friends.

Just has my first prostrate exam and biopsy with Dr Lee and the Evergreen Group. The entire experience was wonderful... dealing with such a unique part of the body --and something most guys don't even like to talk about- Dr Lee was both professional and yet extremely patient and compassionate at the same time. I would most definitely recommend him and will be telling anyone in my age group to go see this guy, get checked out so you know what's going on in your body.
