Dr. Checo is awesome! I visited her for medication management (in Winston-Salem, NC) as I have had not much success over the last several years with other doctors I have seen. She is so knowledgeable and explains everything very well. She listens and is very personable. I highly recommend her.

If are looking for controlled substances, don't bother; but if you really need help, she is your best option. After only two visits, my wife is so well, that everybody is surprised.

She is over dramatic, doesn't listen to anything her patient says, and is scared to do her job. She can make her mind up about you in the first ten minutes of your first appointment. She refers you to other doctors but doesn't trust other doctors or her patients. She says things about your lizard brain but admits mental health is not an exact science. I would stay away from her at all cost. Thousands of dollars put in, zero help given. The clinic employees are great but she is horrible.

1st she was 10mins late but felt a need to blame me. 2nd she asked why I was there and when I started to explain my history to her she stopped me and asked if I ALWAYS avoid ?'s 3rd when I pointed out the obvious (our personality clash) she informed me SHE will determine who I see and when... 4th she tried telling me I have extremely low BP yet I tried telling her I've got high BP that's why I'm on 240 MLG of diltiazem her response was "ohhh"I would NOT recommend this Dr for an ingrown toenail
