Dr. Furman Walls III, MD

I have a serious illness and end up in tufts medical er quite frequently I'm always @ ease when I see Dr Walls in on duty. He is extremely knowledgeable considering my illness which can cause difficulty in treating. Plus he is kind.

Dr. Walls evaluated me for acute heart palpitations. He and the Tufts ED nursing staff were all incredible. Excellent physician.

I had a horrific medical experience with Dr. Walls and his team. After waiting for over 3 hours in the ER, I was greeted by a nurse who started preparing to do lab work. I told her that the lab work had been done while I was waiting to be seen and I’d been told be the front desk that it was already in the EHR. Dr. Walls then arrived with lab results but didn’t want to make a medical call, putting the decision in my hands. He then billed me for a Level 4 ER visit. After releasing me from the ER, I got a call one day later saying they actually found something on my scans that was originally missed and that I should go back to an ER again. I’m appalled by the staff at Tufts and by Dr. Wells’ suspect decision making and subsequent billing judgment.

Kind, and thorough - would highly recommend.
