Dr. West is an outstanding care provider who always listens attentively to my concerns. He continues to include me in all decisions and explains my issues, treatment plan and expected outcome thoroughly. I particularly appreciate that he talks in terms that I can clearly understand as a lay-person. He also took the time to show me the results of my MRI and showed me what had been causing my pain, and how it has now been resolved since surgery.

I have dreaded the thought of having back surgery but after meeting with Dr. West, I am now looking forward to having a better quality of life. He was so knowledgeable about my spine issues and now I am so looking forward to being out of pain!

Ok except lumbar surgery only lasted about one year before one of the screws came loose. I have extreme pain if I'm on my feet 10 minutes. I'm now having epidural steroid shots quarterly which last about 6 weeks. I was told I'd have a new robotic procedure with two small holes. Instead I was cut about 6 inches down my back. It's been about two years since the surgery. It made my life miserable.

Exceptional Surgeon
Dr West did corrective lumbar surgery on me and a craniotomy for a brain tumor on my husband. He is exceptional as a surgeon, as well as caring in his bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing neurosurgery.
