Dr Mc Bride performed 3 surgeries on me over a period of 25 years and he is the best surgeon I could ask for. He performed 2 lumbar fusions and 1 cervical fusion. I have always been able to go back to work & resume normal activities. I’m now 69 years old & still very physically active. Dr McBride is an extremely skilled surgeon. He doesn’t sit and hold your hand. If you need someone to listen to your sob story, that’s not him. If you are one to out guess a surgeon’s opinion on surgery then that isn’t him. I trust his judgment 100%. If he says you don’t need surgery then you don’t. I have a problem with this review process in that the 1 star reviews are duplicated here which lower his rating. Please consider that. He is a great surgeon.

One night in hospital everything went great

I had one surgery with 2001 did surgery on c6,c5 great surgeon fix it.well I came back with bigger problemi need sug L1,L2 front and back Im fat cause I can walk or excersize I used to be a cyclist I have mussle still .I had been trying to loose it steroid don't help also I had no choice but to do sterid on Pace I did not want it to put is my back that stuff gives you bone spurt .any way I had an accident on Nov 8th that also do damage ony neck to I have a pinch netve on c6,c5 thats great the only person I trust is Dr GradyMcBride no one else .Now I put in God hands .

When I had extreme back problems dr friends advised me there were only two surgeons qualified to help me. Dr McBride was one of them. He preformed fusion surgeries on my neck and low back. Not only is he s dr, he’s an engineer as well and his work on me was exemplary. While others said I’d be in a wheelchair, dr McBride gave me a life. Don’t let his quiet almost shy personality fool you, he’s a rock star! Thanks doc.

A friend recommended Dr. McBride to me and I would do the same for someone else. They thoroughly check you out. If you have questions, they listen to you and explain to your satisfaction.

Had a followup appointment for 10:30. Waited 10 minutes to be taken to room & that's within reason. However at 11:45 I was still waiting for him so at 11:50 I left. At 11:59 (I was driving) my cell phone ID'd a call from his office, no message left even though they have written authorization. 12:08 I returned the call & waited 9 minutes for them to find whoever called me. She told me Dr. McBride had a lot of patients that morning I asked her if overbooked. No answer.

Very dishonest Doctor, Went to him for an IME after the insurance company did some Doctor shopping. Spent s total of 5 min in the exam room, Asked about 3 questions. Left room and said let me go check your MRIs, about 2 mins later a nurse came in and said i was clear to go. I had 2 MRIs done a year apart, both saying the same thing. L4/L5 large herniation pinching 3 nerves. But in his report I'm completely healed, said I was at MMI with NO impairment and released me back to work.

This Dr. is amazing and honest with you, He will tell you the honest truth of what is the best actions to take. I went to him with severe back pain and herniated discs in my back, He performed my back surgery and it was the best course of action for me and I am grateful that I listened to him. Thank You So Much. My surgery was in 04 and I was a single mom with 2 kids . THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU HELPED ME IN MANY WAYS.

Worst experience with a doctors office in 10 years. Had to wait 90 minutes after getting there early. Couldn't see me because he was in a meeting. I'd give him 0 stars.

Dr McBride is an incredibly skilled surgeon. I had major back surgery one year ago. There was absolutely no pain...the medication was perfect all along the way. And I was standing straight immediately. He studied Engineering before he switched to Medicine and Orthopedics. That's the bone doctor I want! He is always in his head about his work which I appreciate. He won't chat you up. But I wasn't looking for a friend but rather the best surgeon in town. And that's what I got. MK

Dr McBride is a very caring and professional doctor. He is very straightforward and very knowledgeable about his profession. Care was excellent, the office staff was very friendly and took care of my every need. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr McBride to anyone I know who is in need of his services. THE....THE rudest physician I have ever met. Wont answer questions or concerns. TOTAL God complex. HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU NOT USE HIM. He did a lower lumbar fusion on me in Dec 2013. AFTER he got the check..no more happy visits. Would not give me the care needed for recovery. We have filed a complain with the Medical Board

Dr. Mcbride seen me after I was rear ended while sitting at a stop light, He was in the room for all of five minutes. I explained to him that I was in a lot of pain and not sleeping. I also explained to him That I had an accident two years ago and had 3 herniated disc in my neck and two in my back. He never asked for a release to get those results. He ordered an MRI and informed me he wanted me to come back in 4 to 6 weeks. Not after the MRI was completed but in 4 to 6 weeks.
