Wonderful doctor
I had my first appointment with Dr. Pilar recently and I was very impressed with him. He was quite thorough and really took the time to understand my problems. He is also a pleasant, friendly guy. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Pilar.
I have been a patient of Dr. Pilar’s for many years. He treats me for multiple neurological health issues; the worst of which is requires infusions. He has recommended infusions 3 times, the first 2 helping briefly, and then tapering off. Recently, he recommended and arranged for a new infusion . I have had 5 infusions so far and they are helping. The infusion center at Reading Hospital has advised me that to start the new cycle of Infusions I require an order from Dr. Pilar; however, I have attempted to reach out to his office for the order, but I’ve been told that he has no openings until September 27 th, 2022. It would be unfortunate if I could not renew my infusions for 4/or 5 months. Any assistance would be greatly appreciate. Bruce Reitenauer. DO B 9/2/37 Thank You for consideration.

Dr. Pilar was nice in some ways, but too confusing in others. He often missed the big picture of my illness, forgetting key things like duration, progression of symptoms, and too eager to discount symptoms if things had not yet been revealing. Perhaps b/c of overextension, inexperience or arrogance, he was a poor ally in a complex multi-specialty medical dx. He needs to improve listening and critical thinking skills, learn to regard the history, and realize his limits. I do not recommend him.

My father, William Henry has been under Dr. Pilar's care since November, 2014 after suffering a spinal cord stroke. Excellent doctor. Always available to speak with us whenever we have questions, takes all the time needed with us when we have an appointment. Very informative - straight forward yet gentle and very caring.
