Dr. Gaetano Frisoli, MD

Dr. Frisoli was my obstetrician when I was pregnant with triplets nearly twenty years ago. Other obstetricians had recommended selective reduction; with Dr. Frisoli, that was never mentioned. I had complete confidence in his knowledge and abilities. My pregnancy lasted 36 weeks; the babies were only 4 weeks early. The smallest, our daughter, weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces; our two sons weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces and 5 pounds 11 ounces. None of them required placement in a neo-natal intensive care unit. In my opinion, Dr. Frisoli is an expert in his field.

First of all the receptionist Jill does not do her job! Each time I would go to my appointment she would charge me a 50 dollar copay. Came to find out I didn’t have to pay the copay. She should have verified with the insurance prior but she is too busy on her phone to do anything else. She is also very rude and condescending. Not a good attitude to have when working with pregnant women. I’m sorry but I don’t know how she got a job there. Also Dr Frisoli was very rude to my husband! Don’t go!!!!

Do not recommend. My first visit with my husband was nice. My 20 week visit which I went to by myself, he was very rude and talked down to me as if I was in some sort of trouble for bad behavior. His monitor on the rolling cart wasn’t working and his secretary was wiggeling the cable the whole time. He was very rude when I told him I couldn’t see his ultrasound machine screen that he was working at. I asked him 4 questions about the baby and he didn’t give direct answer. Dr frisoli made me think my pregnancy had problems but wouldn’t answer my questions. He made me get urgent tests which showed nothing wrong. then made me come back every few weeks for follow ups. My overall is that he treats you like a customer, not a patient. He seems to see you as a dollar sign. His ways actually caused me a lot of unnecessary stress which never good, especially during pregnancy!

He was demeaning, condescending, cold and had zero emotional intelligence. Did not listen only talked. And made me feel he wanted to have some type of power over me. Repeatedly asked questions but didn't allow time for an answer and when I did get a chance to answer made me feel I was stupid for wanting more information. Will never return.

I thought Dr. Frisoli was patient, thorough and very informative. I would highly recommend his expertise. I have a background in the medical field and he answered every question I had and took his time to show us every part of our baby at our 20 week ultrasound. I made an appt with him immediately following my appt with my OB and they were able to accommodate my husband and my work schedule. His staff was very nice and his office was very clean and cozy.

The first time I saw Dr. Frisoli was due to my ob/gyn. I was having difficulty with my pregnancy. Dr. Frisoli was very cold in telling my husband and I that my fetus was dead. He was demeaning and made us feel silly for being upset. Second time scheduling an appointment with second pregnancy, the lack of professionalism in scheduling our appointment was terrible. 30 minutes before arriving we were told to recheudle because the secretary forgot he had a meeting at that time. Would not recommend.
