A excellent doctor
I had a whip lash from a motor vehicle accident. I went to see Dr Lian. After he examined me. He recommended Cortisone injections. After 3 injections I felt fine. No neck pain. I wouldn’t hesitate to recomend Dr Lian for anyone who is suffering neck and back pain.. He was very professional and very precise with his evaluation. A good physician. Thank You Thomas Pantano

Extremely Thorough
Dr. Liam spent one hour and 15 minutes reviewing EMG results and conducting an exam. No physician has ever given me that much time. Very impressed and hopeful he can help me with my pain.

Nerve Study (EMG)
Dr. Lian and his associates were great. The EMG was done quickly and with consideration to me as the patient. The information was provided to my orthopedic doctor in a day so I could meet with him to determine course of action. This was not my first interaction with Dr. Lian, as I have had other nerve studies in the past. Would Recommend.

Great patient care
I began seeing Dr Lian for my ongoing migraines, which he is helping me navigate. Recently I expressed my concern of hereditary aneurisms after my brother passed away and Dr Lian and his assistant, Nancy, worked with my insurance company to get an MRA covered. Also, Nancy worked repeatedly with the hospital to get the MRA scheduled (she was clearly getting the runaround, I too was reaching out to them) and kept in touch with me along the way until she was successful. Dr Lian patiently took the time to go over the results with me in terms I could understand and encouraged more questions if I had any. I never felt rushed and left with a confident diagnosis and the weight of the world lifted. Thank you both!

Dr. Lian is aggressive and does not listen to his patients. He kept talking over me and wouldn't let me answer his questions so he had no clue when my symptoms started. I got up and left crying because he was so aggressive with me.

I started seeing Dr. Lian a couple years ago after I breaking my back. He found nerve damage in my legs. I still suffered from back pain an he helped me dramatically with some of my worst pain. I have also been suffering from leg and body cramping for many years and cramping was horribly painful and I would often suffer from it night after night, leaving me constantly exhausted. I decided to tell him about the frequency and severity of the cramps and told him I tried so many remedies over the years and the cramping just kept getting worse. Dr Lian found I had an iron deficiency and prescribed iron pills for me and for the first time in decades my cramps are far and few in between. I found Dr. Lian listened to my complaints and acted on my problems. I would recommend him to anyone who suffers from similar situations.

Addendum: I wrote previously that Dr. Lian was a good doctor. Well, he finally showed his true colors today. When I mentioned cytokines to him he said, 'what's that.' Everyone in pre-med 101 knows what cytokines are. This man is an utter fake, and I seriously doubt his medical credentials. He knows absolutely nothing about FMS which just happens to be a neuroendocrineimmune disease. Hello! He's supposed to be a neurologist??????? I wish I could leave him a minus star. Save yourself a lot of time and find someone else.

Puzzling behavior. Conversationally, quite rude, abrupt and, above all, argumentative. He may well be a learned man and a highly trained, experienced physician, but he does not present as such. Do yourself a favor and seek advice elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lian's. The first time I saw him was over 4 yrs ago for a nerve conduction study. Not the way to meet a Doctor. I was diagnosed with neuropathy. This past year has been a very difficult one for me. I had trouble standing and walking. I started seeing Dr.Lian again this past February. I told him of my ailments and "jumping feeling in my legs". He sent me for blood work and I was deficient in Vitamin D, B12 and Iron. My symptoms are gone. Thanks Dr. Lian!

Dr Lian is the worst practitioner I have ever met and I am in the health care industry. His exam included providing excessive pressure to the areas where I had had prior surgery and have arthritis which would obviously cause increased and kept repeating "number" so that I could give the a number on the pain scale. He did not address any of my issues including numbness and NEVER ordered any tests i to assess my current situation. Instead he offered me 5 Cortisone shots. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Liam.. He explains things well and seems concerned about my peripheral polyneuropathy. He gave me the nerve conduction test which confirmed my diagnosis.. Dr Liam. spends plenty of time with me and makes me feel very comfortable during my appointments.

Dr Lian took over the care of my husband afte the neurologist he was working with closed his practice. My husband was on some very strong meds for his pain and he wanted Dr Lian to wean him off of them and start him on medications that were less addictive. Dr Lian was in a hurry because he was going out of the country on vacation and wanted to take him off his meds more quickly than was recommended or safe. My husband ended up in the ER in full-blown detox. He shouldn't be allowed to practice.
