The follow up with him is not what I am use to from my Doctor, he rushed in and when asked more then 2 (two) question, he was in a rush to go (?) on to the next one so he may be a good doctor in one area he does not have good patience with anyone who has QUESTIONS. And that matters to me, when I have questions, I need answers< not be rushed.

I first met Dr Yan in the Cath lab at Lankenau 15 years ago. I believe that’s where they recruit many of their surgical candidates. While he’s a nice enough man, and I assume skilled surgeon, I really wish I had declined treatment. I’m waiting right now for a call back from the doctor because an alarm is going off in my chest at 8:30 am every morning. I assume it’s a battery issue but his assistant has placed that little bit of fear in me. So I wait. The office really doesn’t seem to want to bother him... In fact, if you become his patient, in my opinion, a lot of your care will be passed off to office staff. They have long waits when there is no pandemic, and they do things like allowing pharmaceutical reps to be present during your exams. Really regret my decision to allow him to place that defibrillator 15 years ago.

Dr. Yan is wonderful! He was able to immediately recognize my heart issue and right away got me into surgery for a pacemaker implant. Both before and after surgery, Dr. Yan very patiently and clearly answered all of my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Yan to anyone needing a competent, caring medical professional.

Dr Yan is certainly trustworthy and thorough. It is obvious that he has excellent clinical judgement. He makes sure you receive the treatments etc you may need. I feel very safe knowing he is my cardiologist and would highly recommend him to others.
