Dr. Garrett Snyder, MD

Recently had a visit with Dr Snyder regarding my knee. Had X-rays done from the nurses, the doc then came in and within a few minutes, and barely touching my knee that was in pain and felt unstable, proceeded to his diagnosis. Now I’m no orthopedic surgeon, but at a bare minimum, I would assume you would do a physical exam on BOTH knees to understand the patients normal range comparing the good to the bad. He didn’t even touch my other good knee. His exam on my bad knee consisted of barely a prod, with ZERO testing of the basics:Three special tests for the knee are: Lachman's test: Tests for an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tearAnterior drawer test: Tests for an ACL tearPivot shift test: Tests for an ACL tearHis diagnosis?? Arthritis. My background: 50yo high level cyclist, sports medicine background with elite coaching. Needless to say, it was very clear Snyder has no clue on various levels, I would be very hesitant to trust a doc like this for your surgery.

The appointment with well until I met Dr. Snyder. I told him my symptoms. He looked at my knees. Then got me out the door. Lack of empathy and the amount of awkward silences were ridiculous. I shouldn’t have told him I was in the military.. Dude was just like “what’s wrong, ok sure.. try this bye.” Kind of attitude. Sorry I inconvenienced you.

First I was put in a storage room—lots of stacked up chairs surrounding me. Dr. has no bedside manner, very disrespectful. His suggested for my knees was a pair of socks. I would give him a 1/2 star if possible for recommending the socks. Veterans beware of this particular doctor.

What a waste of time this guy was.

Dr.Snyder did Both my knees Left one total replacement 11/23/2021 and 10 months later did my Right knee Total Replacement 8/2/2022 Him and his Surgery Assistant Shaun were absolutely AMAZING In and out of the office from Day 1 to the end of my 2nd Knee Surgery..Both of the Doctors have given me back quality of LIFE...from walking with Canes to walking without any assistance I owe these people more than just a Thank you...I wish I could do more... All I can do is if anyone reads this Review and Rating a 5 to me it is not high enough I owe Garrett so much more and Shaun always being there full of answers to my questions..WOW When I chose these Doctors to do my knees I chose wisely. If you ever need a Knee Surgery these two Doctors are the Best in there Fields Thanks for reading this Mark

Dr. Snyder recently replaced my knee. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and does all that he can to make sure you have a good outcome. Highly recommend.

This is by far the most efficient medical facility I have ever visited. The staff is courteous and thorough, and Dr. Snyder took the time to go over my status, recommend preventive actions, and answer my questions. Top notch practice!

Dr. Snyder exceeded our expectations. My now 5 year old son, had broken his arm last year, so we’d gone through this before. The true care and expertise that Dr. Snyder provided was excellent. He spent plenty of time answering questions and I could tell he really had my sons best interest at heart. I highly recommend him, though I hope we don’t have to personally use him again!
