I felt a big pop in my hand, and my little finger just dangled. Turns out I had a bone spur in my wrist that had been gradually cutting through the tendon (or ligament) that controls the movement of my little finger. Dr. Bergman was so professional and compassionate. He attached it to the tendon of the ring finger, and removed the bone spur in my wrist. He sent me to a wonderful physical therapist that specializes in hands. The outcome is wonderful - I'm SO impressed with Dr. Bergman. 5 Stars!!!

Saw Dr Bergman for wrist pain/weakness. He had previously operated on my hand for Dupuytrens Contracture. He was personable and knowledgeable, and diagnosed Carpal Tunnel syndrome, after X-rays and a thorough exam. He explained my options, and I opted for a cortizone shot today. He used a model hand to show me the issue in detail, and showed me the X-rays while explaining my condition. Would highly recommend him.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Bergman?
Dr. Bergman was unwilling to consider any options to figure out what was causing my pain past the X-rays and MRIs, which were negative. I kept asking him what he would do in my position. He shrugged. When I told him I felt frustrated, he said, ?This meeting is over,? and walked out. His entire interaction with me demonstrated an unwillingness to empathize with his patient, problem solve, research, and think outside of the box. When he had the opportunity to step up, he chose to step out.
