Pleased and Grateful
I saw Dr. Freeberg in his Lake Success office. Dr. Freeberg was extremely knowledgeable, as well as pleasant and respectful, providing clear and concise explanations of my test results, and answering all my concerns. I never felt rushed, and I received all the guidance and reassurance I needed regarding my health concerns. The Respiratory Therapist was excellent - providing clear directions for the testing, and maintaining a clean environment (disinfecting areas after use). The office staff were courteous and friendly - especially one young woman who was assisting several patients with the kiosk registration. I would definitely recommend this physician.

A Pleasant Surprise
After reading some of the negative reviews here, I feared the worst regarding my visit. However, the members of the staff were pleasant, I was seen quickly and Dr. Freeberg was knowledgeable, articulate and unhurried in assessing my condition. I would recommend Dr. Freeberg.

I have been a patient of Dr Freeberg for almost two decades. I am asthmatic and have had lung cancer. I have found him attentive, caring, and very good at stabilizing my asthma.

Office is poorly run and dilapidated (toilets are out of order for weeks?!) Staff is rude. Dr. freeburg is dismissive and i question his medical judgment. If a patient is coughing for 3 months, lost 20lbs and has failed multiple antibiotics... we don't skip blood work and imaging... and try more antibiotics instead. When cancer was found.. he did help get the biopsy scheduled asap (which is surely appreciated). No communication from the doctor since.

He is a loudmouth tough guy over the phone. Threatening me and I would love to see if he would speak like that to me in person. He’d sit there like a potted plant, there’s not a chance he’d disrespect me or another patient like he did me over the phone and quite honestly I bet this is a regular thing for this guy. He’s speaking like he’s on the streets, we can do it that way too. If you or your office would like to solve this problem email me and I’d gladly make the time to make it right. Until then, good luck Ms Freeberg

I've been seeing Dr Freeberg for years, and have found him to be excellent in his knowledge and in his treatment, which includes medications, and breathing tests, and x-rays, etc. Nothing is done if it isn't necessary, or to my knowledge, or choice. Dr. Freeberg does his job, without unnecessary chitchat, so you're in and out of his office in no time., though without feeling rushed. Very little waiting time before the exam. The staff, too, are all polite, pleasant, and professional. Thank you!

Horrible manner. Very dismissive of patient's questions. Too arrogant to be an effective medical professional. A waste of medical school tuition. Better to be in a lab working on research without human contact.

I came to Dr. Freeberg with a chest CT scan indicating pleural effusion and pericarditis, and on the advice of my primary care physician. Dr. Freeberg acted like I had no right to be there, that I was just whining. He didn't offer any advice or medication -- even though I told him I was in pain for the past several days. He half-heartedly suggested an X-ray Then he said, There are people who are worse off than you. P.S. I am still sick in bed and in pain a week later.
