A Hero
Gary Gansar gave me my first lessons in how to be a surgeon way back in 1981. One instance in particular was a multi-car accident in a small backwoods LA hospital where as a second year resident he calmly assessed and triaged 8 different patients and gave a valuable to a panicky intern. Everyone survived. An excellent surgeon and a dedicated physician but he must be pretty darn old by now! Best wishes and thanks for everything.
