Unhelpful Doctor
Do not come to Dr. Gary Levin if you are expecting a new job in the future. He will not give a reference stating that you are able to preform the duties in your position. He made me feel so stupid for asking him this. I proceed to just do a follow up call to see if there was anything we could do so I don’t lose this job. HE WILL NOT listen to you, concerns, or even answer the questions you have. He will make sure to cut you off while speaking though so he can say “No”. No solution solving whatsoever. I am hoping to not lose this job now. Please find a more helpful, nice, and cheaper Physician. I’ve found a few nicer ones in the KOP area that will help and actually not talk to you like you are a child. Herbal Care RX has been taking care of me so much better!

Dr. Gary Levin has been my ophthalmologist for many years. I have always found him to be a very good listener, answering my questions and trying to help with certain issues. He always gave a thorough exam, explaining what he saw and making recommendations as he saw fit. Last visit he suggested I start taking eye vitamins and this visit checked to see if I were still taking them as he thought they would really help the health of my eyes. Whenever I left the office, I felt pleased that I had a complete exam and that I was in good shape and ready to go for another year. I will miss Dr. Levine as he retires next week. I wish him well as he has really earned this time to enjoy. I hope he accomplishes everything he has planned and has fun doing it. Good luck Dr. Levin!

I visited Dr. Levin because my previous ophthalmologist retired. My whole experience during my examination was top notch. The doctor and the techs who treated me were professional yet personal and dealt with my specific concerns in an empathetic manner. My only negative is the thought that Dr. Levin might retire.

Dr. Levin and the entire office staff are very conscious about COVID-19 protocols, which is very comforting to me as an immunocompromised patient. Everyone is always so helpful and kind, even more so during my recent visit when I needed additional assistance. Dr. Levin and his medical student, Leah, were extremely thorough and took their time to listen to my concerns and the updates to my health. They provided me various options for changing or not changing my lenses to progressives. It's wonderful to have such a knowledgeable and caring practice in our area.

Today was my third or fourth encounter seeing Dr Levin. The first time I saw him he was very Gruff and I chalked it up to having a bad day. However, after waiting over an hour and 20 minutes to see him today, I finally had to walk out! He's obviously been in business for a very long time and probably has enough money that he should definitely consider retiring because if he ever had people skills he certainly doesn't now!
