Dr Matthews and his team have taken extraordinary effort to make my experience benefit me and enable me to reach my mental health goals. They communicate clearly and often, they are responsive when I initiate communication. Couldn’t be more pleased. I am on my 3rd month of being a patient.

It seemed I was listened to, but not truly heard. rather than focusing on what I am saying he took the words and warped them to mean what he thought they should. He pushed me to try medications I am uncomfortable with, and either did not know, or willfully lied about how certain medications work in the brain. This includes purposly getting me to agree to a medication by name of generic immediatly after saying the brand name does not work for me. I was not a fan of the practice, and left after a few visits

I only saw him for one visit. I had a bad reaction to the medication that he prescribed and my phone calls were not returned in a timely manner. It took at least a couple of days for him to return my call. However, I think that he is knowledgeable, a good listener and he did a thorough job of gathering information to determine my treatment.
