Poor outcome.
I came in because of a left tibia bimalleolar fracture as a result of a bad fall. Dr.M did a very minimal exam at my first visit and no exam at my second and third visits. He based his treatment on x ray findings only. At my last visit it was easy to see that I had sustained severe muscle, nerve, tendon, and ligament damage in my knee and lower leg which I tried to address with him. All he said was that I did a tremendous amount of damage in the fall and that the leg just needed to heal. He doesn't know exactly what was damaged because he did no exam and ordered no other imaging. He never bothered to order PT. At my last appt, 2mo out from the fracture, he just told me I didn't need to come back. All of my other leg injuries, which were obvious due to gross swelling and bruising, were a nuisance to him. He is a terrible example of what a good doctor is like, ie doing a thorough exam, he has no compassion, and seems to care less about outcomes. Mine was terrible!!

Honest attempt but poor outcome
The surgical procedure for a hammer toe was not satisfactory. After 6 months the condition began to return and pain was worse. I returned to Dr. Millward and the recommendation was for an additional surgery but I did not have confidence in that recommendation.

He left me in pain. I had a stress fracture in one foot and a big toe that had 3 breaks in it and he never prescribed anything. When I called a week later in pain he told me to do a contrast soak and to take Tylenol, even though I told him the Tylenol was not touching the pain. He wouldn't even prescribe a stronger than store Ibuprofin. His assistant Shari is flippant. She said that he advised me to get a PCP to help with the back pain...the back pain that was coming from wearing a boot.
