Sad he’s retiring
Dr. Pitts was very personable and punctual. Very well versed in common sense medicine and living. I went with my history written down for him as I saw him as a new patient for which he was grateful and had reviewed before entering the room. I was pleasantly surprised that he had taken the time to review it. Not many physicians would have done that. He was not rushed and spent a portion of our time in educating me on the areas of my life that needed attention to improve my health.

Sometimes I must wait longer for my scheduled appointment but I don't mind. He takes his time listening to his patients and I know that once I am being seen, he will give me the same attention and courtesy.

I like Dr. Pitts very much; he is very personable and I believe he listens and cares about his patients. Now dealing with his office staff can be quite a different story. The woman who usually greets you at the office must have been hired because she's bilingual -- it wasn't for her pleasant demeanor or personality. Hopefully the new office will correct the wait time and crowded waiting area ... and keep Dr. Pitts from leaving to take care of S American patients rather than his practice here.
