Very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant.

I've seen Dr Rankin twice. The first visit was amazing, as he overturned a 20 year old diagnosis that I had been taking medication for. I was told I had macular degeneration, and as a retinal specialist, he could see why a previous doctor would have diagnosed it. It ended up being a wrinkle, rather than degeneration. I recently went back for a 2 year follow-up, and it has not gotten worse. However, he discovered that I now have Glaucoma. He immediately referred me to a local eye surgeon whom I see today. Thank you Dr Rankin. I appreciate your knowledge and great patient care.

I have been seeing retina specialists for several years. I find Dr. Gary Rankin to be an excellent retina specialist! He is very knowledgeable, explains the medical details in a manner that's understandable, answers all of my questions and takes the time to connect with me as a patient.This morning, the staff were very attentive to those of us checking in, were friendly and I felt they cared about me being there today. The medical assistant San was so personable, explained all the procedures and gave feedback to what was being done and my responses. I had retina laser surgery the very day I encountered a problem. You can’t beat that

Dr. Rankin saved my vision almost 9 years ago. My retina detached suddenly and my primary eye doctor recommended me to him. He saw me right away. I was scheduled for surgery the next day. He listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions. I thank God for him!

I have had nothing but a positive experience each time I have visited his office. Each of my questions were answered, I never felt rushed and I had the procedures that were being performed explained to me very thoroughly. I am very thankful that I was put in touch with Dr Rankin for treatment.

ATTENTION: KNOW AHEAD OF TIME THAT THIS IS A SPECIALIST -- YOU WILL BE CHARGED A SMALL FORTUNE FOR THE MOST SIMPLE OF VISITS. I waited 1.5 hours to spend 5 minutes with the doctor and am $415 lighter as a result. I am so upset that I wasted my time visiting this place today after being referred by my regular ophthalmologist. Waited forever to finally see Dr. Rankin only to really find out there was no reason to have wasted my time. Don't get me wrong - I'm just as irate with my regular ophthalmologist for even making the referral, but to be charged over $400 for 5 minutes of the doctor's time is ridiculous. I was the first patient through the door when they opened, first to register, first to be called back from the waiting room, and about the 18th to actually see the doctor. Lots of old people there who have all the time in the world, but the one patient (me) who verbalized that I needed to get back to work, made an early appt. just for that reason, gets to wait the longest f

I have been a patient for several years. Staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Rankin is very thorough and easy to talk to. His knowledge of eye problems is extensive. He really cares about his patients and will do whatever he can to treat your eye problem/s. If one is looking for a physician who specializes in eye diseases, Dr. Rankin is the one to go to.

Rude to his employees, won't let patients ask questions. I would not recommend him EVER! Giving him no stars was not an option.

Sometimes we do have to wait a couple of hours and one time was longer than that but he was doing surgery. It would have been nice if someone would have come & told us what the delay was. They do have a sign in the waiting room that it could take 2+ hours for your appointment. All the staff is friendly and Dr. Rankin is very professional & answers our questions.

Long wait times, plan on hours for apppintment. Feel like cattle being pushed through the gates.
