I chose the best oral surgeon when I chose Dr Gary Raska. He is, by far, the best in Sarasota! He has a great disposition, is friendly, and has a sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do before, during, and after the dental implant procedure. He made me feel very comfortable during the procedure and followed up with me the day after my surgery to ensure I was feeling fine. He prescribed an antibiotic for a few days following the surgery. I never experienced any pain after the procedure and never needed any medication for pain. It was an amazing experience. His staff is friendly, professional, and organized and always made me feel welcome. His office is centrally located and spotlessly clean. I love his messaging system - you are able to get automatic text messages as reminders for all your appointments. Great experience with Dr Raska. Tooth extraction went amazing and I was comfortable the whole time and that’s saying allot for someone with extreme anxiety.

Excellent service and bedside manner. I had some concerns about anesthesia, but Dr. Raska and his team help put that to rest by explaining the ins-and-outs in layman terms to me. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Raska should you have any need for dental surgery.

Told to have a free consultation via SMH. Made appt, was clear about insurance, they charged me over $500. They already had radiographs from SMH, and he made me take in house ones without informing me of the cost. Made me feel like absolute crap through the whole appt, said I would never continue my career, etc. He is rude, pompous, arrogant, etc. couldn’t wait to get out of his office.

I had a growth removed and a biopsy done on the tissue. Additionally had an implant installed during the same visit. The procedures were done efficiently. Facility and team is great. Procedure was well explained, including possible options, prior to service being performed. I highly recommend this Doctor and staff.
