Dr. Gary Winfrey, DO

I have been seeing Dr Winfrey for 9 years. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and a great Dr. He has helped me through cancer, diabetes and lots of little things.He knows all of his patients and truly cares.

Dr Winfrey has been my personal doctor for almost 11 years. He’s the best! When he walks in the room, you are the center of his universe. He is friendly and kind. He takes all the time you want and answers all of your questions and concerns. He views you as an intelligent partner in your health. He never belittles you or makes you feel like you’re uninformed. I also like that he doesn’t act dictatorial - he asks you if a test or procedure is something you are interested in doing now. You will absolutely feel comfortable with him. And in case you want a woman doctor, his wife is in the practice too and she’s equally fabulous!

I have had many doctors in my 67 years of living. Dr Gary Winfrey of Clermont Medical Center, Clermont, Fl is absolutely one of the very best and truly helpful doctors that I have ever had. If it weren’t for the greedy Orlando Health, he would still be my doctor. ??

One of the few doctors that I’ve had that actually read your chart and history and he’s not so quick to just prescribe medication seems to want to find the cause of the problem

Dr Winfrey is a phenomenal Dr and this review does not reflect on him. However- It does reflect on his support staff. I have never experienced such rude and bad service from the office team. I had to call in 4 times and even go to pick up records from the hospital (something they could have done over the phone). They said only 1/2 came to them. Instead of picking up the phone and having them sent again. They just didn’t full come through the first time. But at that moment, they stop helping. I have had 3 experiences where they repeat this poor service. They don’t keep notes in their system. No called in 4 times and they only had one in the system. They need to clean house and get people who care. The receptionist even hung up on me. I feel really bad for Dr Winfrey and thought this review needed to be written.

He is the BEST MD I have ever had. He is personable, includes the patient in on their own care, & is always reading and learning what is new and relevant in medicine. I would not even consider going to anyone else! He is 100% what I value in a doctor.

Dr. Winfrey is a fantastic diagnostician. I have a somewhat complicated medical history and he listens, treats me with compassion and never hurries an appointment.

Dr. Gary Winfrey is the BEST! My husband and I both go to him. He is the most knowledgable doctor we have ever had. Incredible bedside manner... so helpful, understanding and great at explaining. He is not condescending, makes you feel comfortable to ask questions. WE LOVE GOING TO THE DOCTOR NOW!!!

He is a good doctorand friendly. how ever I needed paper work filled out, and he didnt feel comfortable filling out the paper work. If that's the case he or his nurse should of called to tell me. I had to keep calling to get any info. They didn't tell me this till after I saw another doctor to have an eeg done. Now I have to pay another doctor 150 dollars when if he would of told me this earlier he could of saved me the 150. Thanks dr. Gary Winfrey. If I could give him no stars I would.

Dr. Gary Winfrey is a great doctor. He is always friendly and quick to help. I wish more doctors were like him.
